Sucks. Even if Fed EX K's a lot he's way better defensively and is hitting better. I say give him a lot of ABs and see what happens.

FedEx cant fucking catch or frame a pitch correctly... Yesterday he had several moments where he was struggling to catch Fife's 85 mph fastball... gimme a fucking break! I'm not impressed with him behind the plate... I expect him and AJ to go 60/40 next year, with AJ catching CK, Greinke and Ryu and FedEx the other 2 (or something like that)...
Ellis is hitting 192/264/267 after the break. Awful. His inability to last a whole season is a major problem, but Federowicz isn't the longterm answer (in terms of starting)...but I agree he deserves to be seeing the majority of the AB's for the rest of September. Get Ellis as fresh as possible for the postseason and hope he lasts.
I'm with you, but for as much as we've heard how "great of a catch and throw catcher is FedEx", I say his catching lacks skill and his throwing aint nothing special... lets just hope AJ can regain his shape and draw walks...
The thing that's twisted is that last year AJ was hittin great from the 8 hole and he hardly got moved up and now probably the opposite should happen. He's still seeing a shit ton of pitches just not getting good results from them, hopefully rest helps
AJ is finally awakened from his slumber. Big night including the big clinching HR! If AJ can hit like that, the bottom of our lineup will be vastly improved. That said, Donnie needs to sit him a lot until the post season. Get him rest and get FedEx even more experience he can surely use in the postseason.
