    Maeda does not have the stamina to go a full game. Dave is being proactive.
    In the best of times Maeda is a 5 to 6 inning guy.
    But at this point in the year he is too tired to go far.
    His stuff is not that great even at the start of the game.
    So getting him for 4 solid innings then letting the bullpen work it out is a sound strategy.
    We have more arms in the bullpen for the next series if we blow anyone out this series.
    The important thing is to win at all costs.
