Speaking of destiny, does it seem to anyone else ironic that it may very well play a huge part in the almost-a-Dodger Chapman and a LAD hitter late in a game?
    Hope it's not Puig.

Looks like the wind is blowing out and pretty strong, so Maeda is going to have to find a way to keep it in the park... which is gonna be extremely tough against this lineup

He can't walk people and make it easier on them like his last outing. Don't get too cute. Just pitch.

I'm calling bullshit strike zone for us this series. Seems like everybody wants the Cubs to win.

don't have a lot of hope for game 1 tbh
maeda has looked like crap the past few times out while lester has owned us
thinking we'll likely be on the wrong side of a 12-5 score
all our runs coming on solo shots
    hope i'm wrong but...

    I like it.

I'm glad they kept Pederson in the lineup. In the 8 spot they might not challenge him even with a lefty pitching, and he can just work the count and draw walks.

Isn't Wrigley an oddly shaped stadium? Like left center is actually closer than the left foul pole? We need right handed pull hitters or lefties that can go opposite field.

    Yeah, it's funky like that.

Gonzo is actually pretty good at lofting balls up to left center when he gets balls up and away, generally those are lazy fly balls, but with the wind, short porch, and basket... he might hit a HR that way tonight.

I'd have played Grandal but I'm ok with it and using him against a RH RP
