I'll be at Friday and Saturday. Hopefully our best pitchers continue to be our best pitchers. Oh, I'm going to predict a Dodger sweep this time.
I'd have no fear of seeing Harang. I can't see his face where I'm sitting anyway. RF- foulpole-Loge. Anyone gonna visit me and my wife?
IDK if this is the right thread...it actually doesn't matter. It just strikes me that after all the activity at the trading deadline, and the "powerful lineup" and best W per 9 ratio pitcher in the ML acquisition, we are still talking about trades to get somebody that will help us. I mean, that's fine, but what does it really tell you? And blaming the performance out there the last 3 nights on scheduling and off days or a "ruptured blister" on Ethier or anything else, is just a substitute for lack of heart and desire. Flat out. I don't think Ethier's performance lately can be accounted to a damn blister. I actually would rather see Dee at the top than this yawn we traded for right now...let him get his shit together, no matter how painful. To me, Victorino's best days are way behing him. Out there in the OF , too. Whether suspended or not, the Giants are doing quite well against their closest rivals for the NLW crown, without the leading hitter in the NL. It doesn't matter that he was doing, they are winning without him. They are in first place. they didn't whine or collapse like we did (so far), they just went out and played damn good BB. Tough as nails, these "fags". I wonder who the "fags" really are? Dispatched us handily, and simply made fools uf us. I guess this is fodder for Vinny, and his "imagine if they still had whoever in the lineup" type quips. Y'know -the Lincecum mantra. I also wonder if they will have to even worry about us soon, as the DBacks draw closer and closer to our team, as the LAD really punked out and showed nothing. Blame it on anything you want, and wish for more superstar trades in our lineups that aren't going to happen--like Fielder and Haren and Lee and etc., etc....it all just seems like a beard for the real reason. How you go out there and get whupped like we did and still hold your head up is beyond me. It's not over, but it's sure looking more and more like the same old song that they sang in Brooklyn for years and especially in the last 23... "Wait 'till next year".
fixed... agreed but this team is so schizophrenic that it's almost impossible to predict what team will show up great road trip to build confidence and momentum, and a three-game sweep at home to tear it all down
LOL. Gnats swept us, we sweep them, they sweep us and we will sweep them again, it's a vicious cycle (said in a Scottish accent by the way, )
yeah, we will probably sweep them in SF in three weeks problem is, they'll probably sweep us right out the postseason the final three days of the season at the Ravine... if we even make it that far
Apparently the reference was missed. I was going for the Fat Bastard quote: "I eat because I'm unhappy, and I'm unhappy because I eat. It's a vicious cycle... sorry, I farted."
no it wasn't missed. somewhere on here i said all my posts should be read in walken. just messin around.
