Fun story by the way for guys that arn't friends with me on Facebook:

So a couple of buddies and I were at the game today and we overhear these two guys talking in the behind us. Here's how their convo went:

Guy #1: "Has Pujols always played for the Angels?"
Guy #2: "I THINK he used to play for the Cardinals."
My buddy (The smartass that he is): "No, he played for the Brewers."
Both guys at the same time: "Oh yeah that's right!"

I was laughing my ass off. Hahaha.

I can't tell you how heartwarming it was to see that game and beat those bags of steaming shit like that. I go back a long way with this team, and I want them to win against everyone of course. But from childhood fist fights with Giant fans (and Yankee, too), I think there is no sweeter victory than over these blood sucking Angels.

i would have been cool with either(preferably Capuano) on a 1 year deal. maybe both. good stop gaps til next year. but no, 2 year deals with higher 2nd years because of the damn deferred contracts

I've liked the Dodgers for decades, since watching and listening to Sandy Koufax, and I'm always lamenting why they've been penny wise and pound foolish for so many years. I knew that the O'Malley's weren't the Steinbrenners but I still want the Dodgers to have a great team and to win. I've always hated on the damn Giants and have always considered them to be our true rivals. "F" San Francisco and everything in a 50 mile radius...

The Angels, or for that matter to a lesser degree the San Diego Padres, always were viewed as the poor cousins who used broken bats, scuffed yellow balls and our leftover players to cobble together a .500 season once or twice a decade. I don't spite either team. They are the poor unwashed relations with awkward table manners who cannot help their position in life. When the Angels won a ring a few years back I actually smiled. They didn't take anything away from the Dodgers. They're in an entirely different league. Hey and they beat the damn Yankees! Slap them on the back already! Give up a little love!!

If the Dodgers played the Angels in the postseason then I would understand your views...

In the meantime the Angel's being successful doesn't hurt the Dodgers. Spanky McCrook hurts the Dodgers. Are you jealous that Arte Moreno spent some of his advertising $$ to purchase Pujols? Who cares? McCrook sure wasn't going to try and sign him.

Yeah that one was complete bullshit I'll have to agree... One of the bigger mistakes Arte has made. Worse than calling them the California Angels too. Anaheim Angels was the correct name, he shouldn't have touched it.

Yeah I've driven the LA freeways... lots of them... can't recall seeing a Dodger billboard recently. So the Angels are the problem because they are now advertising?
