    Roberts said the pitchers for the last two innings will be decided by match-ups.

    There we go. Although, leaning into Dave having to make more decisions could come back to bite us, matchup based is the way to go

    hadn’t really noticed he’s in a mini slump after his year all year but I will say I recall some hard contact he’s made just some good defensive plays on them

    here's the reasoning of our fearless leader

    Graterol had gotten four outs, one to finish the seventh inning and three more in the eighth. He had thrown seven pitches in all. Roberts said he did not consider letting Graterol finish the game, because this season the Dodgers had not asked him to finish an inning, sit idle while the Dodgers batted, pitch another inning, sit idle again, then pitch again.

    yeah i can see the logic there...if we do win this it will be in spite of him
    sure as a pitcher Brusdar has never been asked to do anything so crazy

    It’s not like Graterol wasn’t being groomed to be a starter before coming to LA either. 41 starts in the minors, 11 last year.

    I still wonder if they’ll transition him to a starter. I get he’s a really good reliever and probably our future closer. I just always wonder if committing a 21 year old amazing arm to being a reliever for good is the right play.

    Yeah kinda scared about Morejon against us, a lefty with his stuff is gonna be tough but hopefully he’s outta this game soon. Jsut need get on base a few times to spook Tingler into removing him
