It's funny how I read Hanley & Ethier, scrolled passed Capuano and read Kemp's lol

Ethier left the clubhouse in a walking boot.

Went from "Yeah, not a big deal" to a fucking walking boot. The misdiagnosis sucked :( Hope it's not serious. Really want Hanley/Kemp/Ethier in the lineup in like 10 days

(Also: Crawford seems to be hurt also, and waters still wet... Don't know how bad it is. But geez.)

They misdiagnose every single injury. I don't know what goes on with other clubs but it doesn't seem like this should be the way things go.

Lol we really gonna have a lineup of Ellis-Ellis- Vanslyke-Gonzo-Uribe-Shumaker-Hairston-Gordon in game 1 of the NLDS. It'll be funny when we sweep

    • Of more pressing concern for Mattingly is the team’s overall health. Matt Kemp is trying to return from an ankle injury, Hanley Ramirez left Thursday’s game with an irritated nerve in his back and Andre Ethier departed Friday’s game with a sore left ankle. On Saturday, left fielder Carl Crawford was pulled in the third inning because of stiffness in his back, and center fielder Yasiel Puig left in the sixth after he was hit by a pitch, though Mattingly said Puig’s departure was more related to the score at the time. "Hopefully we have some miraculous recoveries overnight," Mattingly said.

Don Mattingly: Carl Crawford has tightness in his back. Yasiel Puig is out "somewhere between a day and two weeks" with tightness in his hip

    Yikes

I can never tell when Puig is hurt because he "acts" or looks hurt almost every time he slides or dives...makes grimaces, suddenly limps, or holds something and then seems fine a minute later. So I guess he's really hurt now so we are missing every big name except AGon for a bit.
    This sucks.

i could tell last night because he jumped up w the ball and then immediately grabbed his groin area before returning the ball in. as you well know a dick punch doesn't come on that quick.

maybe. but will the timing be there? i'm going to pretend its all just a ploy to rest the starters. yes, thats it. an elaborate ruse being perfectly played by dbb to get key guys some rest and kemp back on the field.

    PUIG

LOS ANGELES – Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig has tightness in his left hip, but the extent of the injury and the length of time he's going to be sidelined are currently a mystery.

Manager Don Mattingly chose to be coy before the game, telling reporters, "I'm thinking somewhere between seven to 10 days for him, hopefully. Maybe two weeks or three, I don't know. Or it could be tomorrow. I'm not sure.”
