I think this has gotten pretty freaking hilarious and is more entertaining than the game.

Don't hold me to this, but doesn't Wright have the lowest negative ERA of all active players in the MLB?

Todays game has shown some serious flaws that will kill us in August and September if not sooner. Our bench is barely able to pinch hit and show consistant defense. It is horrendous when having to start and give the regulars a break. That will kill us in the dog days of August and September. Remember how depleted we were last season with Aaron Miles exhausted and Jamie Carroll close to being? Stan is going to have to do some major roster moves and that will be tough without eating money if we are to compete year long. How many of our bench players or even some starters can go the entire season or a good part of it as starters and hold up?

The bench needs one guy, a power threat. Otherwise it's fine.

At what point do we think about trading the entire pitching staff and bullpen and letting Jamey Wright pitch every inning?

Our starting infield is basically a bench.

Fine to do what and for how long? If Rivera goes down we lose our starting LF and first base alternative to Loney. How many of these guys started over 120 games last year at the MLB level? Dee is questionable for the full season because of body size and experience, Uribe?, AJ Ellis has started how many MLB games, Treanor played how much last year etc etc. I am not talking about their adequacy now but over a full 162 game season especially considering the experience and age of some of our starters.

You'd have to worry about that when it happens. No need to panic about potential injuries when the injuries are still potential.
