    Yeah, it makes sense when we play Anaheim, but flying to Texas then flying right back seems odd.

    Looks like they have some pretty good pitching and hitting. I know the ballpark is small, but the ERAs of the guys we are facing is pretty good for that home park. Should be a good series...who knows WTF is up with the schedulers ?
    IDK if this is the right thread, probably isn't...but Joc Pederson's pure, unadulterated joy on the field is a wonderful thing to watch. His hitting is a work in progress, and with good caoching and with his very fine "veteran's eye" he's got already, he could be a great one.
    But his fielding, as I have already posted about some weeks ago, is just inately superb and natural, and it's his kind of enthusiasm and boyish energy that could lead us to the promised land...finally. You can't teach what this kid brings to the dance.
    He has the best attitude in a bb world loaded with of "sense of entitlement" egos and overly emotional players that is a respectful throwback to a long time ago.
    It may sound irrelevant, and I have posted it before, but his parents are to be commended. Their plainly good parenting all shows every minute the kid is on the field.
    Bravo to all the Pedersons.

    Damn, their starters are a lot better than I would've imagined, especially pitching in that boom box of a home stadium.

    Ugh the team got in this morning at 4am central because the charter had mechanical problems and had to be diverted to LAX.
