I still think Puig could've just let Ellis catch it since he was camped under it and he can see that but whatever. Puig reminds me of Kelly on the Bad News Bears(the OG one) when Butterman told him to hog all the balls to make sure they win. I had to do the same thing on my last year in little league my team was so fucking horrendous.
Kevin Kennedy, Steve Lyons, Dave Vassegh's unnamed Dodger player, and Rick Monday all said it was Puig's fault.
Mike at MSTI said it was Ellis' fault.

We should make a poll to see where the Mother fucking DSP Dodger board stands.

 

Interesting Dodger Talk tonight. Kennedy speculated Kershaw took himself out of the game, even before he was asked to bunt.

A caller said that Elian Herrera should start in LF and leadoff everyday instead of Crawford. He went on to say that Don fucked up by taking Belisario out and bringing Paco in to face Overbay. IDIOT!

 

By the way, I know Puig is screwing up now and then, but lets not get schizo about this. A. He's a rookie. B. I recall people saying he was not ready, and other saying he needs to come up to the majors.....well, that is what happens when you get someone green, but you also get 120% effort too....good with the bad. C. This team was 12 games under .500 and dead last when Puig was called up. This team is now in 1st and literally tying records held by an all time great Dodger team that includes Pee Wee Reese, Duke Synder, Roy Campenella, and Jackie Freakin Robinson.

Something we've all learned and discussed over the years is don't take the game threads serious.

 

Puig is not an idiot.
Puig does idiotic things on the field that really are just things a more seasoned player shouldn't do, or a smarter player shouldn't do, or both. Like I've said all along, Puig should not be up based on his knowledge of the game, but he is here because he so damn good at baseball.
He reminds me a lot of Kemp early on.

 

Not really sure who's fault it was. Mark was there but why was he there it was in RF. My question though did Mark wave him off. If so then yeah, its on Puig but maybe he didn't understand what he said. Rookies do what Rookies do. its just one game.
