To the point where he basically called davey a liar after he said he wasn't the only one making in game decisions.

I’m delusional? Your mind is twisted, just like everyone that just resorts to blaming Roberts outside the heat of the moment, like you, don’t get it. Friedman didn’t do any of those things, but he gave him a game plan that says take Rich Hill out after this number of pitches or in this situation. Hit for person A or person B in this situation or that situation. There’s literally a game plan for all of it. Doc doesn’t make those decisions based on feel, he does it based on the matchups. None of them worked because the Dodgers had the shittiest bench of the Friedman era this season. Pitch Max Scherzer in the ninth of Game 5 or Urias in Game 2? You really think that was Doc’s idea and not part of the game plan going into it? Come on now

I don’t have any problem with Chris Taylor. I just see things that other people ignore and ahh I’m delusional for wanting to keep the player that is tracking to be a future HOFer that is just now entering his prime. The thing is, I don’t give a shit about the cost when the Dodgers have a 230 million dollar per year local TV deal, plus the 9 figures they get from national TV money, plus all the ticket sales and merchandise sales that are surely more than any other team in this league. They are flowing in cash. They can afford to go 100 million over the luxury tax. He was literally our best hitter. Chris Taylor has already peaked, his defense is declining, and he has a 28% strikeout rate. He’s valuable because he can fill in at several positions when we predictably have all of the injuries that we do. He’s not necessarily replaceable, but he’s easier to replace than Corey Seager. What happens if Trea goes to the market and walks too? His aav gonna be higher than Seager’s because he will be in a market by himself. We don’t have a farm system deep in high end talent like we used to.

Are we going to see Lux at 2B next season or will they keep trying to force him into the OF? I guess if the Freeman thing materializes (long shot), then eventually Muncy returns and plays second. But short of that I'd like to see Gavin on the dirt. And what about 3B? Turner was great for the first half, but I think age caught up with him down the stretch and I don't see that being any different next season. Hopefully there's a plan for that.

It pains me to see Corey sign elsewhere, but I get it - we throw that kind of money at him, how do we resign others that we need to hold onto. Very glad to see CT back next season - the guy's versatility is just so critical to this team. Now, let's get Kersh resigned... he needs to retire in Blue.

you answered part of your first question w your second
CT is the plan for JT or any other positions
i think Lux sees more time in the OF because why not?
he looked more than adequate most of the time and a team of CT's works for me
    thinking rat xenobots

It depends on the off-season frankly. If the move is a Freeman or a Matt Olson, then Muncy, JT, Taylor, Pollock, and Lux are splitting time between 2B, 3B, LF, and DH. Taylor can play all of them, pollock only LF, and Lux could possibly play all of those too, while JT splits time between DH and 3B and Muncy between 2B, 3B, and DH.
The way I see it, we need two more bats. We need 10 guys who are capable of everyday spots for 8 positions (I’m excluding catcher). The 8 we have now are JT, Trea, Lux, Muncy, Taylor, Pollock, Bellinger, Betts. Beaty, Rios, McKinstry, they are there, they can be end of the roster guys but not much more. We need two more and both need to be left handed

I saw Gil Hodges play...I saw all the Boys of Summer play.
My family had relatives that lived in Flatbush, and when we went to visit, my dreamboat older cousin and I would walk up Bedford Ave to Ebbetts Field and catch a Sunday game. She rescued me from a boring afternoon of family bullshit and turned it into magic memories...
Gil's wife still lives in the same house in Brooklyn they did back in the day.
He was as strong as an ox...

    @BlakeHarrisTBLA
On his latest podcast, Jon Heyman thinks it’s between the Astros and Dodgers for Carlos Correa Also added the Dodgers seem most likely for Freddie Freeman if he doesn’t return to the Braves.

Correa is arguably the most hated player by Dodgers fans.....that'd be quite the move

    This.

The Trevor Bauer level of doucheness is about as much as I can handle. Don't know any possible way that I could stomach Correa doucheness. That would be worse than LAL signing Lebron, which pretty much ended my love affair with the Lakers. Yeah, I know that not everyone will agree with this, but I believe there IS a limit to the "who cares if he's an asshole, as long as he can play" mentality. At least there should be for the classier organizations. You know, the ones that don't put cameras in center field in the playoffs.

My dad was stationed in Japan with the Marines, and my mom was still in HS. I don't think they had even met yet.
