Yeah, I don't know what they are thinking with that. They want to dumb down the game with more offense - even though marque pitching matchups are some of the most watched/attended games.

 

DO NOT PANIC, but the ownership is looking at potentially selling a minority share of the club. Before you freakout, this is normal and is the club taking advantage of the blitz for team ownership in a time of skyrocketing prices. One economists thinks the club if it were to sell completely would be at $2.5 billion dollars, which would be a solid return after only 5 years(those guys are also notorious for undervaluing what these people will pay nowadays for a team). Won't change anything with the overall structure, but it will be interesting to see what it could fetch.

Does anybody have hope left for Ryu, Mehcarthy, or Kazmir?

 

How about let's start the season today that way we are ahead of schedule and speeding up the game is a non issue.

Game don't need fixing. It's been this way for a long time and it isn't like it's making people not wanting to go.

It is what it is the drama of each play and mostly a lot of people on there phones texting and taking pics. Spending an afternoon enjoying the outdoors working or enjoying the game. The thrill that you were their with your kids or to watch records to be broken. Even pissing off a player when you get on his nerves. Checking out all the hotties:woot: Don't fix a damn thing. It's all good....

 

I think McCarthy will make a nice comeback.

Kazmir & Ryu is the Twilight Zone.

Wood should rebound nicely.

 

I have a semblance of hope for each of those guys, but not necessarily as front end starters anymore:
- Ryu I could see as someone that is solid out of the pen. He looked great early in his first start, but wore out quickly. With his repertoire, he could be a really good reliever, but his days as a starter may be over.
- McCarthy looked damn good until he got those fucking yips. If he can get over that, it'd be fantastic as he looked really good.
- Kazmir is a meh for me. After a great start to 2015, he has been pretty shitty since. His biggest hurdle will be the first inning as the club needs to figure out how to get him over that hump. They do that and he is suddenly a pretty solid pitcher again and maybe a trade piece.

 

Lots of Dodgers on team Mexico's roster, which yeah I hate when MLB'ers are on it and would much rather have MiLB guys. AGon, Romo, Nuno and Verdugo are on the roster and Urias is on the "designate pitcher pool" which is I guess means he can only pitch in one round.

 

Except the numbingly stupid ASG winner with home field avantage...just rotate it from year to year...what is that too difficult to keep track of? They stat up how a guy hits when it's cloudy as opposed to sunny...please.
And the 2nd WC team is a bit much...greed motivated excess.
The game itself though? Leave it alone, let it be.
Like the shift...learn to go the other way...

 

Enrique Hernandez is on Puerto Rico and that appears to be it

 

Also probably not the best decision for him unless he is starting throughout. Otherwise he is missing valuable time with the club when he is coming off of a year where his struggles were overwhelmingly bad.

 

Id live to see MGT offer this guy a minor league deal.......

CC is the major one, but not Wilson. Wilson would kinda be like our own Tebow circus.
