I don't get this one. Why fuck Frias starting? Sure, maybe not this year, but eventually.

There is ZERO evidence doing the things you promote result in a World Championship, the Dodgers tried it and failed. So for my money, you're bitching just to be bitching. And your nuthugger too.

Because he was pretty bad in that role last year? Maybe he can be a starting option if he learns how to throw an off speed pitch or 2 worth a damn...

He didn't turn many heads, but he didn't suck pond water either. We're talking about a fill-in for the 5th rotation spot. How good does he have to be? Long term I agree, he's not the guy, but I could see him getting starts until the others get healthy.

And if the off speed stuff is a problem as a starter, then it's a problem out of the pen as well.

Not against Stripling, just saying Frias as a fill in isn't the end of the world.

I read that in a couple spring starts that his velo was down 4-5 MPH. Obviously it's just spring training so whatever, but maybe there was more to that.

Contract offer, not Q offer. Kenley will want multiple years at max money and won't be a guy hiding reoccurring back issues who can take almost 17 mil without requiring a physical. So no, he'll be gone, someone else (prob the Yankees to add insult to injury) will have a bully like the Nasty boys in '90 and we'll have a draft pick for you to spooge on.

What am I promoting exactly? Oh, you mean NOT signing a bunch of sore arm pitchers and trading a 100 rbi guy for a made-of-glass roider to catch them? Tell me why that's a smart plan again? I'm sure and McCarthy, Beachy and Anderson will agree with you.

They didn't sign Ryu but they sure as shit were counting on him.

So it's understandable that it went over my head why again? Are you saying I'm not smart enough to understand your statement?
