The St. Louis Business Journal has learned that arbitrators have selected the St. Louis Rams' proposal for upgrades to the Edward Jones Dome.
The decision is a major victory for the team, which proposed a plan estimated to cost some $700 million that would see the stadium undergo significant structural changes.
The St. Louis Convention and Visitor Commission will now have 30 days to decide whether to accept the decision of the arbitrators and move forward with a plan to fund the upgrade or to reject the decision, which would allow the Rams to break their lease

Sources tell Billboard.biz that the final three bidders on Anshutz Entertainment Group (AEG) are a group made up of Ron Burkle with Patrick Soon-Shiong and Goldman Sachs; Guggenheim Partners; and ColonyCapital and Qatar Sovereign Fund. A deal could be done as soon as the end of March.

 

I hope Patrick Soon J's group wins. Stan Kreonke has been attending Laker games with Patrick and if Patrick gets AEG...it's hello Rams to LA. If Guggenheim gets AEG, it is pretty obvious they would work on moving the NFL project to the ravine and the Dodgers will be playing next to Staples. NO THANKS.

 

Maybe not though. Farmers Field is shovel ready and swapping sites would be a hell of a process.

You guys are prolly getting the best class you have ever had. Biggest benefactor of the SC sanctions has been UCLA. Our class is great, but Ramsey just decomitted and that was a huge blow.

Rough, rough day for SC recruiting, just fucking terrible. I'm bummed and pissed.

We had 3 decommits today, the day before NSD. Two of them were surprises, and one is a major blow. Typically losing a few recruits doesn't hurt too much, but with the sanctions it's huge because we can only bring in 17 this year and already were at 15, so now we are at 12. This in comparison to some schools which will bring in 25+ !I think it is an absolutely cowardly thing for these kids to do and totally, totally unfair to the university and coaches. They know the situation and yet they wait until one day before NSD to pull this? That is fucking lame and disgusting. Just shows where society is and how people don't give a fuck about anything outside themselves.

 

Have no fear. Spring is near.

Devil I get what you mean about season 3 about having some flaws. I disliked more than a few ways the story went.

 

4 has some flaws as well. still some good ones imo. don't let it keep you from 5 and esp 6.
