It might also come down to how Darvish looks and who we are facing. If Darvish looks dominant in his first start, then it would be tempting to pitch Kershaw whether we are up or down knowing that Darvish will be available for game 5. If we are facing Arizona, for example, and we have a chance to finish the series without facing Robbie Ray again, then I'd be tempted to go for the jugular.
That's true. Like in 2013 vs the Braves when we went with CK in game 4 up 2-1 knowing that we had Greinke ready for a potential game 5.
If I'm not mistaken, Kershaw has pitched Game 4 of the NLDS 4 straight years, 2013-16. Every NLDS Game 4 the team has played since he was called up.
In fairness in every previous year it was a two man rotation and we had to pray on the 3rd starter. This year at least we have 3. Also just saw Maeda's velocity has been up in the pen which is nice
Obviously, can't speak for anyone else, but I was good with Ryu going behind Kershaw and Greinke back in 2013 and 2014
My dad was a huge drug addict growing up. Maybe thats why I tried not to care about him. I mean he drank coffee every single day and sometimes twice a day! His addiction to caffeine was fierce and it made his emotions fluctuate. Unfortunately, this addiction thing is hereditary because I can't stop drinking coffee every morning. It is just so good when that bitter taste hits your mouth. I guess it is like the pin prick of the smack addict or the burning lip of the crackhead, or whatever the cokefiend feels when the shit hits his nostrils.
It is looking more and more like Rox and D'Backs it will be. Milwaukee is basically going to have to run the table as I don't think we are taking more than 1 from the Rockies this weekend. Rockies are going to be playing their hearts out and Dodgers are probably going to be going with the starters to get the game going, before we see line changes after 2-3 AB's.
Essentially 3.5 ahead of CLE because LAD owns the tie-breaker, we don't need LAD to do much against COL..should they take care of business tonight, that is. Edit, looks like HOU is back in the pic now
