That would be perfect. I'm flying in Friday afternoon
I have no actual idea, but what the fans want and what MLB/the network wants could be different

If Puig can keep focusing on smart at bats in the bottom of the order, the pressure that puts on opposing pitchers should be an important aspect of any series. Let some of the earlier batters set the table for RBIs.

I hope Puig really extends the hitting possibilities across the lineup.

I wish we had more speed in the leadoff position though.

This might get me pelted with apples here but: This was a pretty well managed game by Dave.

Took out Buehler at the appropriate time, the relievers were mixed in well, solid lineup, but also recognized Jansen's shakiness and had two relievers behind him.

He’s a great manager. He fools around a LITTLE too much in the regular season and that would be my only critique.

MLB doesn’t care what the local fans want. They know the local fans will move mountains to watch the games. 2 years ago the Cubs got every primetime, late slot because they were a good story. MLB didn’t care that Cubs fans like day games and Chicago is 2 hours ahead of the west coast.

I know Milwaukee is probably the toughest opponent in the NL, and I really don’t want to face the Rockies and have to play games at Coors... but the idea of watching the Cubs lose tomorrow would be oh so sweet.

Order of teams I want to get bounced the most:

    1. Red Sox: I'm tired of them alternating between sucking and winning WS championships. It's irritating. Hate New England. And I don't want to face them.
    2. Astros: I don't like teams who tank in order to re-build. And I'm bitter.
    3. Cubs: I don't like teams who tank in order to re-build. And screw them.
    4. Brewers: I don't want to face Yelich and their BP
    5. Indians: Afraid of their pitching

It'd be nice to have Oakland/Cleveland ALCS and Dodgers/Rockies NLCS. I hate Coors but I want the Cubs bounced and don't want to mess with MIL.

Oh man, this town is going to be on suicide watch tomorrow. I don't talk shit ever, but I had to throw on one of my nice Dodgers long sleeves, Brooklyn hat and head to a sports bar that I knew was packed. Nobody talked to me, but I could tell some hick was trying to start shit by coming over to the group next to me and talking shit about the Dodgers loudly. Only problem, then he started talking about the Rockies and obviously didn't watch any games this season until the last week or so cause he had no clue what he was talking about.

The Cuban Missle Crisis has a big heart and I just wish they stopped platooning him so much. He is the perfect bottom of the order type player. A very ops type of hitter who can loosen the team up and annoys the other team we’re they focus more on Puig then the team as a whole. Plus the days he doesn’t hit he still plays good D. Call me crazy but hate the Cuban or not that’s what he brings to the team.

He was ok but still to freakin patient with fat ass. He needs to be more brutally honest with his guys period. I would really tell him dude get in shape because I tired of your performance and it should piss you off but the only way to fix you is you and until you can show me it’s closer by committee. Just light a fire up his ass. Spanish guys always like to prove you wrong period. Unless he has an injury by the lack of mph on his stuff. Otherwise I believe Softy has become a Sloth. As a manager you can be a players coach but at the same time you can’t be scared if a player tells you fuck You but I still love you.

Call me crazy, but I’d love to get another shot at Houston. I really hate Coors, so it’s hard for me to hope we face the Rockies - I just hate the idea of losing dumb games there. Then again, CHI and MIL are launching pads too... and we are built to play that game.

Facing the Rox again would be a dream. We'd win the NLCS and Kenley would be forced to stay home with his low velocity, non cutting meatball!

There are reports from the offseason that he works as hard as anyone at his conditioning. The hammy obviously hurt him early in the year and the issue with his meds has been a problem lately. The strong stretch in the middle of the year aside, this year has been a disjointed mess for Kenley.

And it's also possible all the innings the past few years have caught up with him and his dominant years are behind him.

    Don't care who we play.
    Just win, baby.
If we can get there, would love to beat the Yankees, but I'll take whoever, and be thankful.

You're entitled to feel that way, for sure...but great ?
He can get to a place no other has for three decades, the opportunity looms for him, and if he does, long may he wave.
But right now...I think greatness is still in the future.

Great to see the stage wasn't too big for Buehler. Wary of saying this, but Baez has become a dependable arm. Really working his secondary pitches well.

Fitting that Muncy had one of the game's key hits. Hoping he's not this year's Taylor. Think his game has a little more staying power for the future.

I hope we meet the Rockies. Kenley can’t blow a lead if he’s not there at Coors
