    I guess the thought of a non-pitcher attempting a bunt is a foreign concept. :crazy: You don't have to even lay it down to be effective. Step out of the box more, wiggle the bat for distractions sake don't just stand there like statues!! It's not popular ball these days but the game has been here for over a century before all this launch angle emphasis. Relying on HR's is a highway to ruin. :wakeup::wakeup::wakeup::wakeup::ranting::ranting::ranting:

    Sort of a road to perdition?
    Aside from Honeycutt, and old nugget "you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear", must be used because of some truly poor results frequently, this team is badly coached.
    ...and "this is the way it is done now" is not an excuse, because the overwhelming result is failure. Can you imagine where we would be without Honeycutt right now?
    The overconfidence in the modern day criteria and prorities, on the Dodgers anyway, looks like an overall crash and burn to me, as they struggle mightily just to maintain being a .500 team. In spite of the HRs and run differential.
    Going back over the season so far, and the substantial loss total, aside from games when we were simply outpitched and outhit by a better team that day, we must have flat out blown at least a half dozen games, on simply not executing the fundementals of the game. Six more wins and six less losses would be great, and we could have been there, imo.
    You don't get rid of the players, but I'm fine with giving the whole coaching staff their walking papers, except RH.

    Have to take Max at 2b with a grain of salt and a measure of patience.
    Imo, it is better do deal with clumsy range than with Logan in the lineup.
    Face it, yobbos, this is what under 197 hath wrought...
