    @truebluela: Dodgers lineup: Ellis 2B, Puig RF, Gonzalez 1B, Ramirez SS, Ethier CF, Ellis C, Uribe 3B, Schumaker LF, Kershaw P

    Kemp sits, and mark leads off against a righty. Mark has an OPS above .800 vs lefties but in the .600's against righties, don't know why he's leading off.

    OK, seems like a stupid lineup to me. Switch Skip and Ellis ASAP. Why the fuck is Kemp already sitting? Did he break his hand/arm smacking the wall? Ugh.

    EDIT: Mark has pretty fat numbers vs. Likesthecum. 5-15 .844OPS
    Edit2: Skip is 7-25 .773OPS lifetime 0-3 this season v. Likesthecum.

    Yeah I wish skip and Ellis flipped

    Kemp is probably sitting cause he has played 4 days in a row coming back from a hamstring strain. Why not ease him in, and Lincecum is a good person to sit him against. Don't wanna kill him on his way back, especially with 4 straight games after this

    Well, that's a good way to think in my opinion. I'd rather trust who's hot and who's not than matchup numbers that are probably outdated considering how different Likesthecum is now from 2 years ago.

    I'd think a better way to set up would be on platoon splits over a career, or how hitters do with certain types of pitchers, then after that maybe being hot, and then lastly (I guess but I hate when it's used) pitcher vs. hitter small sample sized previous ABs

    Someone posted a stat that said Kemp was like 8-44 off Lincecum with 18 K's. Probably that and giving him a day off.

    Do we really want kemp to play everyday given he JUST hurt his hamstring, and he still isn't the player he is? Don't see a big deal with it. I wish Skip was better but for one day it's not a big deal to me

    This was my guess without even looking at his stats vs him. Just from watching him the past few years I remember his flailing swing at balls in the dirt constantly against Timmy likesthecum. Considering he has done that all year we don't wont the "new" kemp to revert to bad habits already
