I was going to mention before they had that mini-rally, the Cards dugout looked completely out of it. Mathenny seems like a hardass, hopefully all that pounding takes a toll on the psyche. I'm sure they're thinking about the NLCS last year.

 

Ryu is gonna have CG shutout in game 7 and he wins MVP.

 

Game mother fucking 6 bkitches.

 

I love the fact that we are throwing two starting lefties out there. Need 7-8 innings from each ideally. We've gotta get to Wacha first, though.

 

We have officially surpassed the 08 09 teams. We have made it to a game 6.

 

Nicely done boys!!!! Cliche time: Take them one at a time. Clayton my man you've done it all year, let's do it again, complete game shutout this time.

 

I'll take 5 shut out innings with Withrow/Howell/Beli 6, Greinke 7, Wilson 8, Jansen 9. But if Ryu wants to do better, than I am fine with that

 

We just have to score a couple runs off of wacha. I'm not worried about CK. He's as good as automatic. Especially in this game.

 

Other than RISP, we've outhit these guys, and we've outpitched these guys. We can do it!

 

Awesome that the offense stepped up and a big thank-you to Greinke! Great game and Kersh gets the ball on Friday!

 

Double fucking phew...holy shit, Greinke was a magician today....and in some ways, so was Gonzo. I'm not talking about his offense-we all know what that was. But his defense was off the hook. Wow. Poor Hanley out there struggling to do just everything, both D and O, and Gonzo saved him on an incredible pick that could have changed the game big time if he doesn't.
IDK, I think if you just sit Hanley, let him heal some more and hope for the best in game 4 and 5 without him, and maybe he's feeling wa-a-ay better for game 6 and possibly 7. What did he do today? A K, a DP and a 30 foot slow roller to the pitcher.
Anyway, great victory and I hope Kenley isn't "full dose Jansen" anymore.
IDK what to say about Puig....anybody can lose it in the sun; but does anybody else trot after it like he did? And stand there like a mook after getting punched out? And take a chance on a disaster throw in that situation with zero chance of getting the runner at home?
I know all about his enthusiasm and love for the game, and he's the "wild horse' and all the other shit....but, some times, I just think he's flat out selfish, and cares about wowing everybody way more than playing BB like it should be.
Or.....maybe he's just a powerful moron.
Like Lenny in "Of Mice and Men".

 

yeah, what he does gets lost in it all sometimes.
IMO, the guy is simply a great fucking third basemen. Great.
Period.
