Didn't get to see any of the game today as well. Watching the box score on my phone, I see Puig was flailing away again. Then hear that he was last out to the field in one inning, and had his glove off and wasn't ready to field another time; kid better pull his head out of his ass
Sad to go out with so little fight. And we haven't even faced the Cards ace yet

When your fucking catcher loses the game for you, what can you really do about it? How that was scored a wid pitch, (I thought it was a strike), not even in the dirt....you can't win. You just can't. And when your best player is out, and the next one is a K more often than not lately, how can you win? Collectively their approach AB as a team is what? Strike out? Where the fuck is anybody with anything?
And honestly, I'm tired of watching Puig miss the fucking ball by a foot. I'm tired of him doing zero. I'd rather see SVS out there, at least he might hit it...Puig is not going to help us. What a fucking bum he's turning out to be when we need him. At least SVS doesn't swing at a ball in the dirt in front of the plate on a 3-2 count with bases full....and could tie the game. Inexscuseable.
The offense is like April and May, and it's as simple as that. I just don't think the Cards are that good on the mound....maybe they are hot now, but they aren't unhittable-just against our shameful lineup. Is this a sweep in the making?
How good is your team when you score one fucking run a gainst a team with Punto and Shumaker in CF and no Ramirez, Ethier or even Kemp. Just lucky that it's that way I believe. Or it takes 13 to do it.
We all thought we had the team this time...we all thought it was time. All that sturm and drang during the whole season, and to play like this...where the fuck is the pride?
Maybe Ryu, who I felt was ready for a huge scrambling, will turn it all around. Uh-huh.
Then again, how much better do you get than no ER, like Clayton gave us today. You gotta score at least one. Yeah. At least one.

I almost wish we got beat by Atlanta so someone could possibly beat the Cards and not let them in the WS.

    This and this and this...etc....
I cannot believe how you people pull a blame Donnie card out of your stinky fucking asses EVERY TIME we lose a fucking game! It's just ridiculous.

    Your team fucking choked.
Your young primadonna superstar outfielder fucking sucked donkey cock 2 games straight.
Your veteran former superstar pinch hitter hasn't come through when called upon in the post season.
Your comeback player of the year third basemen is out of magic for the moment.
Your pussy ass outfielder complained he was sore and sat out of the biggest game of the season.
Your superstar SS was injured on a fastball to the ribs.
Your overpaid hot hitting left fielder isn't hot anymore and has an arm of a pre puberty teen.
Your cool and funny catcher cannot catch a fast ball strike.
Your hitting coach cannot fix your hitters bad habits.
Your highly paid first baseman is in a slump again.
Your team swings at shitty pitches when they have a hitters count.

Hey Ned, do me a favor, since you'll probably be around for another decade or two for making us an ELITE team again...go out and get a catcher. A no.1 catcher. A guy that can catch the ball, especially in the playoffs. That was so fucking bush today.
I had nightmares of this, and posted so in the past, and it all came true today. Sad.
AJ would be a nice backup. Backup. You hear?
    Backup.

Oh and one more rant....I made a semi-joke the other day about clocking Holliday and the morbidly obese Adams....hafucking ha. But it seems, the Cardinals took my advice and put OUR best hitter out of commission. In the rib cage too. My, my...The joke is on us....

If I have to see Puig, the same guy that swings and misses at pitches that would actually hit a lefthanded hitter, take a legit strike and look cross at the umpire, I'm going to bust something.

Puig has no fucking clue what the strikezone is. He has no right to question a ball/strike call. It's just lame to see him swing at pitch 2 ft from the plate, and take strike 3 over the plate, and look at the umpire like he fucked his sister or something. He's suddenly overmatched.

It's so bad now the Cards intentionally walk Agon in a slump to get to him. Nobody is afraid of a retard unless he is holding a sharp pair of scissors...then he's scary.

Blame the coach when we lose, celebrate the players when we win.

This was a real punch in the gut.

It's 08/09 all over again except it's lacking Matt Stairs.

Anyway, that's why I started the thread about We Being Here Already. It's not enough to be in the NLCS. At this level, your key hitters have to hit, and your managers have to manage, because the pitching and defense is going to be strong. It's not so much about heart but smarts. When you've been around the block a few times, you should have smarts. But it seems guys like Ethier, Ellis's, Crawford, Gonzalez, Mattingly, these guys just don't get it.

Need the smarten up real fast and get the next 2

One common denominator on the active roster to our failed NLCS' of the past is Ethier.

I still cannot believe he didn't play today because he was sore. Cunt.

Yeah, not that I'm into Kobe Bryan knob slobbering, but it amazes me how this guy can have high sprains, broken fingers, and hyper extended knees...run up and down a basketball court and play elite basketball when he's needed but our guys are shut down for weeks. I get it is a different sport and a longer season, but Ethier really couldn't be a trooper today?

    This team man.
