    since you didn't provide any context, i'll presume you're talking about flipping the prospects we get for kemp to philly for hamels
    1, amaro has already stated numerous times he wants joc/seager/urias, so he's not going to somehow be bamboozled into accepting inferior ones that we suddenly acquire
    2, why give up anything in trade for hamels (or anyone, for that matter) when you could just sign a lester?
    i know, i know... because we're suddenly the cash-conscious/budget-buying dodgers :whack:

    i'm sure i can find a 50-60 game stretch from last year where he had similar " roid numbers "

    i know amaro likes the big three
    i guess i'd be okay shipping joc in the right deal
    but i'd really be reluctant to part with either seager or urias
    so to answer your question... i just don't know

    I'd trade Joc/Chris Reed/Chris Anderson/Scott Schebler for Hamels. Not enough I know but Amaro has to do something!!! Urias and Seager are UNTOUCHABLE!!!!

    So are you implying that he was also on roids at other times besides his rookie season, in which he was suspended for them?

    Dee isn't leaving the top of the lineup until he sucks. Although that may be sooner or later, not sold on him. Driving me straight towards a cliff with the idea that Crawford or SVS could be hitting cleanup.

    Joc is unproven..i guess that's my point. you don't want unproven prospects back for Kemp, but you wanna send unproven prospects for Hamels. kinda flimsy

    if they added Rollins, i wouldn't be so sure of that. see: Rollin's career numbers in the leadoff spot

    I think this suggests that the Dodgers are ok with not trading Kemp, and that it would only be for a strong return.

    damn, i remember when teams would've lined up for Kemp and given almost anything. now, not so much..and that's what most are tying our season to. smh bad sign.

    I think that's fair. Maybe no Chris Anderson if anything. Or add Anderson and maybe someone else lesser and get Rollins as well?

    Dee's best asset is his speed and it won't be put to very good use with the pitcher hitting behind him.
