Hard to believe that grandall flag high flying fag is the best return offered out of all those teams. Kemp seems less likely to move now. I hope.

it's not the most ideal situation, but Dee can steal 2B whenever and be sac bunted over to 3B by the pitcher - where then basically any contact at all gets him home safe. of course that's the 1 out scenario where he leads off the inning.

it's not as efficient as say him leading off because you're giving up an out, but if Rollins is on the team, he's just a better leadoff hitter than Dee is - no contest.

If you assume that those are the names being thrown around then obviously that is not even close to enough but what does this mean for the chances of dealing CC or Dre. This is feeling like the rest of the league doesn't want or is purposely low balling us to stick it to us. Conspiracy theorist in me coming out, lol.

As for dealing Dee you have to remember this is going to be for the forseeable future a defense, speed and pitching league.

no, what's flimsy is distorting what i said to make your feeble argument
my initial post said why give up anything in trade when you could just sign a lester
i then said i guess i'd be okay shipping joc in the right deal
that's hardly akin to i "wanna" trade him, as you stated
and your implication that the SD prospects are on the same level as joc is absurd
    or am i being flimsy?

Not sure if this has been posted yet:

Dodgers Open To Trading Dee Gordon
By Mark Polishuk [December 9, 2014 at 4:34pm CST]
The Dodgers have let teams know that they’re open to trading Dee Gordon, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports (Twitter link). Gordon played 144 games at second base last season but played almost exclusively at shortstop prior to 2014, so he could appeal to teams looking for help at either middle infield position.

Gordon is arbitration-eligible for the first time this winter and MLBTR’s Matt Swartz projectshim to earn $2.5MM in 2015. As a Super Two player, Gordon has an extra year of arbitration eligibility and is team-controlled through the 2018 season.

Players who can get on base are a priority for the new Dodgers front office, Sherman notes, and Gordon has only a career .314 OBP. Still, Gordon certainly has some trade value following an All-Star season that saw him hit .289/.326/.378 over 650 plate appearances while leading the league in both steals (64) and triples (12). His production tailed off down the stretch, however, as Gordon posted just a .632 OPS over his last 68 games. If Gordon is dealt, Alex Guerrero, Justin Turner and Darwin Barney could all see time at 2B for Los Angeles, though some of those players could also address the club’s vacancy at shortstop in the wake of Hanley Ramirez‘s departure.

Man, it seems like the Dfags got nothing in return for Montero. I hate the douche, but could we not have put together a better package for him? Hell, send them Joc.

I think that we should look at trying to get Wellington Castillo now that Montero is a Cub. Send a low, low level B prospect and get him. Then the C position is set.

I don't think Joc is all that great but no way I send him for Montero. No way. Declining, bad attitude, big dollar guy.
