i remember as a kid growing up i used to like how when you looked at a dodgers player straight on his uniform spelled out LA Dodgers
the LA is on his hat and the Dodgers is on the chest

i know the los angeles is aesthetically better though

 

I like the LA on the road unis. TBH, I think I'm one of the few people that liked the no names on the jerseys. It was old school and I liked it.

i had a dream a few weeks ago about this
it was a weird dream
in this dream the o'malleys are forced to leave the dodgers name in brooklyn when they moved to LA
so in this dream its the early 90's
im at a los angeles angels game
at blue heaven stadium in chavez ravine
mike piazza was at the plate wearing his blue and white los angeles angels uniform
his nickname was the archangel michael
the uniform was virtual mirror of the dodgers uniform but with angels instead of dodgers
but same font, colors, style, logo, etc...
the angel motif is is taken advantage of but in a different way than anaheim has
its more about the city itself
but also about how angels are more than mere mortal men
they are powerful demigods
loved, feared, and respected as greater than the common man
the home teams dugout is decked in out in dodger colors in the interior, basic whites, blues and darks
the top deck that is visible to the fans has white clouds with a heavenly blue sky
the visitors dugout is bland gray or white on the inside with a dark smoky clouds and hellish sky on the top deck
i was sitting in the mount olympus section eating some kind of frozen treat called angel ice
but i was jealous of the people around me eating some angel wings
angel wings were basically a funnel cake with powdered sugar all over but made in the shape of a set of angel wings
we had a great team
the heart of our order were called the four horsemen
it was beltre, piazza, karros, and mondesi
they all had that 4 horsemen metallica song as their walk to the plate music
nevermind that they never actually all played together, hmmm
man would that have made for an awesome heart of the order though
i was a kid in the dream but those guys are from the late 90's
i dont know whats up with that

im guessing mike piazza never gets traded
mondesi and karros continue to play well batting around piazza so they stick around
and we let beltre stay one more year in the minors before we call him up and then stick him at 3B and never move him for the next 15 years
he probably wins rookie of the year too, hence why the 4 hitters are all roy winners and a group
fuck todd hollandsworth, that roy award belonged to adrian beltre
this los angeles angels team in my dream... not that bad
