Loney's HR you could see the heart of a city break. It lead to our first playoff series win in 20 years, tough to beat.
Lets just hope whatever happened to Ryu last night can be fixed, cuz its hard to win only with CK and Greinke
I think this one tops it. Yeah this wasn't against the hated Giants, but obviously this takes us deeper into the postseason. Plus all finley had to do was hit it into the outfield for a sac fly and we would've won anyway. This one, if Uribe doesn't do what he did, we lose.
Our bullpen is pretty messed up right now too i'm afraid. Wilson and Kenley, and to a lesser degree, Howell, are the only reliable relievers we have. Beli and Paco are completely burned out. Withrow is still pretty green and struggled last time out. If we're sticking with a 3 man rotation, then we might need to see if Nolasco can give us some innings out of the pen, although I have no idea when we can 'test' the waters on that.
Now, someone better tell Adrian to get his shit together. He almost costs us the game... Oh, and it looks like Andre will be back for the Championship Series.
Holy fuck that was awesome, shitty then even more fucking awesome. I take back anything bad I've ever said about Juan uribe. Dude could go 0 for the rest of the postseason and he's still a BMFer in my book. Wow!! We are going back to the NLCS bkitches
well...seems as though we have a couple new sluggers in our lineup. CC with 3 HRs in 2 days...Uribe with 2 HR. people forget because runs were coming from all over the place in Game 3, but those two are the only guys who homered for us in Game 3 as well now...lets get Ethier back in center and lengthen the lineup just a tad more
Nolasco is OK, bro. ATL and Fredi Gonzalez just knew him too well to put him out there tonight. he'll be alright outside of a series with the Bravos
Even though it didn't mean much, and that season was a big disappointment, Mondesi's two HRs (one walk off) on opening day that one year was probably one of my favs that goes under the radar.
