I knew I should have bet my life savings on all home teams in a 15 team parlay!

@ESPNStatsInfo: Home teams were 15-0 on Tuesday, the first time that's happened in @MLB history on a day with at least 15 games (via @EliasSports).

Nats monitoring Harper's knee again. Every time I think the Dodgers are fucked, I look at the Nats and feel better. They lose 3 or 4 impact bats within their lineup when Harper is all good. Then they get those 3 or 4 impact bats back in the lineup and lose Harper. Wash, rinse, repeat. smh Mets in line to take advantage...seems like they can't score less than 4 runs since adding Cespedes. That's all that staff needs.

Bp was actually fine last night...I surely hope it is a sign of things to come.
Of course with our luck lately (it's actually been great , according to Vinny), Yimi will go down, when we get back Hatcher.
    And that could be apocalyptic.
    Or not.

If the Mets get to the post, they have a real good chance of going deep minto it, maye even the promised land of the WS. With the way they hit now, and that staff...definitely.

They had a good chance once they got Uribe and all his clutchness. He won in 2005 and 2010 and it is 2015, so he's due.

Then, fuck everybody and baseball forever.

Uribe's " due " alright. Due for a spot on the bench when David Wright gets back in early September. Wright had his 2nd rehab game yesterday. Their lineup is gonna have a chance to get even better in 2-3 weeks.

Hatcher has a 8+ ERA right now so you are correct, apocalyptic. I've been a Yimi fan so I HOPE he found something but then again he had a 7+ ERA in the minors too. Hey I said the Mets are scary 1st! LOL. Their staff is going to very very good for years to come.

I wonder what happens when Hatcher and Turner come back.

Yimi might get sent down for Hatcher, but maybe they feel good about him. It's probably the easiest choice. Because I doubt they dfa Johnson or Nicasio, and rightfully so. The other guys with options, Baez and Avilan, I could see them wanting to keep cause Baez has been the 2nd best righty and optioning Avilan leaves them with only one lefty.

As for Turner, the easy option is sending down Peraza. However, that leaves Turner and Callaspo as the back-up 2B which is risky. I believe they've said that they don't think Turner can do much at 2B now, and who knows about Callaspo, he hasn't played at all there for the Dodgers.

Inquiring minds want to know..Turner can't play much 2b because he is a cement block, or because that leg infection is stifling his range.
Not that I expected to see him at 2b.
Just what does "leg infection" mean anyway?? How the fuck do you get an ulcerated leg in 2015 ( if that was it)? That's 18th C. shit, man.
Punishment for having a 4 billion dollar payroll. The whole BP thing.

Wright will break even if he does get back. Spinal stenosis isn't exactly easy for an athlete to deal with

I need to find the article but I think even before his leg infection Don said they don't really feel comfortable with Turner at 2B because of his knees, which is the reason he gets lots of days off even at 3B.

Out of options and Friday is the last day he can be on his rehab assignment I believe, so it's either back on MLB club or DFA'd
