He had a BRUTAL turnover but also: the dude was the most active on the pitch for 90+ minutes. Being down made the US play much better though Also: to me, if USA woulda won it obviously woulda been great but Germany woulda played crazy attacking and US a bit defensive. Now, USA will play a bit more looking to attack and higher priority to win and Germany can settle for a draw. I'm being too optimistic but now the mindset of the game can help the US keep it close.
