Pedro just said everybody's tired of baseball..the players, the umps, the player's association..everybody's tired and is ready for vacation, wanna get the WS over, wanna spend Halloween with their families Everybody on the set cracking up Pedro turning into Barkley right before my eyes
Yasmani walked 3 times today, didn’t have any issues behind the plate, and did good job framing, so it looks like it was a great call to start him. Only other one I can see a strong argument for is Logan over Chase i guess. Anyways, doesn’t matter, tomorrow we get the lefty mashers
no he sat the guys who had helped get us to a 3-0 lead and then put out a jv lineup that no one wanted if it ain't broke... i'm okay with dre out there based on his game yesterday but no way the struggling granderson and utley should have both been out there and stupid to sit barnes who hits better against rhp than lhp
Genuinely asking: Who would you have started? Charlie, Barnes, Joc, and Logan? Or Enrique? Grandal was good today, other 3 sucked, but the options weren’t great and these guys have to step up and do something.
Well... Curtis Granderson struck out twice in one AB. But I backed him going into the game, so I think I'm the winner.
Here's the deal Dave, Utley and Granderson better not as much as step one foot on the field the rest of the year. Both trash
The only one that is not a coin flip is Granderson. He hit a buck something for LAD during the season and was 1 for 11 in the post coming into this game. But mostly, it's because he's a strikeout machine and usually nowhere near the ball. He shouldn't be on this roster, let alone starting and getting four ABs.
he also wasn't in the dugout in the 9th what kind of teammate is that?!!! selfish primma donna bkitch
logan for sure would have kept charlie at short and taylor in cf grandal did okay (no passed balls lol) but barnes has reverse splits so i would have probably given him the nod as well that collective hole in the lineup from 5-9 killed any chance of momentum/rallies
The other options aren't that great, but Granderson/Utley simply can't get 4 at bats in a game. A mannequin would be a way better option than those two.
Lost in Wade Davis' "gutsy" performance is the fact that he gave up another run (on a monster bomb) and walked 3 batters. But, yeah, an amazing closer.
It’s about the game plan, getting to he bully and driving up the pitch count. Not only did they not hit, the didn’t execute good AB’s. To answer the other question, you play the better defensive player if you can’t decide. Neither Utley or Granderson take that prize.
