This is a sorta fool proof move. James can only play first base and AGon can only play first base and as a Loney supporter it is sorta impossible for anyone to say we are better off with Loney over AGon. The only possible issues might be the young pitchers and somone could say why did we give Loney away also but unlike any of the others who you could argue got away Loney was given ample and fair opportunity and support. We didn't trade his him position wise for a different position or a questionable pickup.
Yes I will root for the guy because as a human being he has proven to be a good man. Since he won't be playing against us makes it easier of course. One thing is for sure I won't be rooting for an injury or even death? A little over the top for a sports forum.
