Yeah, Honeycutt probably hates Ned with a passion How does Ned manage to make a shitty offense AND staff?
its sure worse than CK-Bills-HiKu-Lilly-Eovaldi as simple as he just pushed his 4th starter into the 3rd spot...
It's pretty funny that we're paying Uribe, Rivera, Lilly, Ellis, Guerrier, Capuano and Treanor 45 million dollars for this season.
The team is, on paper, worse than 2011. We have a marginal, and not definite, upgrade at Catcher and thats about it. Everywhere else is the same if not worse. I'm always excited for a new year, but it's hard to not have very low expectations.
i agree doyer i was feeling ok until i saw everyone's names on paper. it's quite depressing still, we're in the worst division in the nl so maybe...
Yeah... I mean TBH, though, did anyone really think that with the changes in ownership, we'd really find ourselves in a good position? Not going to use that as an excuse for Ned though. This is just a stupid signing.
That is just my point, on paper. On paper the Phils were odds on favorites to win the WS, 2 years ago the Gnats weren't even on the radar and the D-Bags were a last place team after 2010. This division is winnable and when the new owner comes in there will be trades and this roster won't be the same. I get hating this signing I'm not doing cartwheels either but let's wait and see.
read this http://mlb.sbnation.com/2011/11/28/2592177/ed-wade-fired-general-managers no surprise. bottom 4 are Ned, Sabean, Ken Williams and Dayton Moore
One step forward in ousting Frank. Two steps back by keeping Ned. Cleaning house is priority number one with our new owner. Has to be.
Like? The ownership change was guaranteed to be a wrench in the works so to expect a blockbuster is unrealistic and pointless.
