Who knows, I think Martin had a few double home run games mixed in with a double but I would have to look it up

I mean reaching base six times in a game alone is a feat rare in itself, regardless of position.

Probably like a guy living his dream, playing ball for a living, hanging out with his best friends in the dugout, starting at just the right time in his career to cash in nicely on his arbitration years, now one of the better backup C's in the game who gets to call a couple games a week without feeling beat up, and one or two years from retirement as a player.

Have we found a permanent replacement for McCarthy in Frias???? Still would like to see Lee get a start.

    Piazza's best game was in 1995 in Philly, 4 for 4, 2 HR's, 2 Doubles, 7 RBI's, and a walk.

As far as I can tell, he never had an 8 RBI game.

Could be, I suspect. It was interesting I thought, Orel's comments on Frias having to develope another pitch to keep the hitter's honest...I'm sure it will have to happen, as long as his career path is to be a starter.
But I think for 5, he is good enough to keep us in the game. That may be all DBB is looking for from him. He wasn't near as good as last time out, and he was definitely O.K. with this lineup, as it is.

Does anyone have an opinon on Orel's comment about Puig...that right now, there's "a calm" in the clubhouse, and they haven't had "to deal" with Puig's "energy". And they're rolling right along without him?
There was dead silence after he said it, and IDK if he meant it positively or negatively towards Puig and his return.

    I didn't hear that. #twc
But no I wouldn't agree with it.
I like Orel but I don't understand that one.
