Peter Gammons @pgammo Congrats to the Dodgers hiring Janet Marie Smith for the stadium renovation. She belongs in the Hall of Fame
Awesome. As long as they keep the distinctive features and make sure it isn't an amusement park by renovations end, I am excited to see what they come up with.
Now THIS is where Kasten is fantastic. Not the actual players type stuff, but these type of hirings is what excites me about Kasten. I've read nothing but good reviews about this, just another positive mark on ownership.
All we needed was some Italian around here. Now some BROAD is going to be telling me where to stand. Why am I never consulted on these things anymore?
I'd really like seats in the pavilion. That's the only reason I don't sit out there...crammed, uncomfortable, bleachers.
Thats where poor people and Mexicans sit. You need a place to put those people and it would be a waste of money to give them seats. A bench is just fine ask Peter.
Trust me everyone, Dodger Stadium is already amazing. We're just going to make some minor improvements: improved fan experience, renovations around the concourse. Nothing too drastic my friends.
lol alright, this has gone too far. Ruven doesn't make us use valid e-mail addresses so we can just create a bunch of accounts. hahaha I've been Living Legend, Praise Jesus, and Peter O'Malley
I admitted to being Jamie McCourt. It's not something I'm proud of, and I haven't created any of these other fake aliases.
hahaha I'm just saying I wouldn't do it if I had to confirm an e-mail address I think Irish is behind Gwynn Jr, Gwynn Sr, Mark Walter, Tommy, and possibly Ned.
Some speculation from Eric Stephen of True Blue LA: Donnie said that the Rivera/Loney platoon would remain at 1B with Sands backing up at 1B/OF. It didn't really seem as if Sands would be the main starter. Kennedy comes back on Thursday, so theres a chance he comes back and options Sands back to Triple A. Which would mean Kennedy DFAs Gwynn, Rivera/Loney/Uribe remain. I hope that's not the case. I really hope when Kennedy comes back it's Uribe gone...
