I just hope they don't take 50s to the extreme, otherwise I'm going to be stuck watching the game at the top deck whenever I go.

I am and have looked at his overall average in the majors and if he had done so well last Fall in that call up would we really have had the number of different left fielders this year? Come on the data and the Dodgers use or lack of supports what I am saying. I mean get real if he had done so well oh yeah and what happened with his first call up this year? Why did it take until August this year to bring him back up? He is up and down in performance and that is hardly the grounds to pronounce anything other than maybe.

    Averages
    2012-BA 174
    2011-BA 253
    Career- BA 244

    At bats career- 221
    Home runs career- 4
    RBI'S Career- 27
    Strike outs career- 60
    At bats 2012- 23
    Strike Outs 2012- 9

Yup I saw him last Fall and all the times before that and I also read his stats minus the rose colored glasses. He disapointed at the start of the year and lets hope this time is charmed.

You and other readers can do the data analysis and make your own decisions. You already have so others can. He alread had one chance this year after yes doing well last Fall. I didn't forget either last Fall or this year.

On another note he and one of my sons went to the same college

The Phillies didn’t intend to trade Cliff Lee when the Dodgers claimed him on waivers, but the left-hander could have blocked a move to Los Angeles, Jon Heyman of CBSSports.com reports (on Twitter). The Dodgers are one of the 21 teams on Lee’s no-trade list.

Could well be why Amaro said right away Lee isn't going anywhere. Dodgers claim him and Lee says no and dada bing thats it.

Oh, so you don't want to win a championship Cliff Lee? That's cool, bro.

You put the big market teams on your NTC so you have leverage in negotiations. It has nothing to do with liking or disliking a team.

I take it you won't be there for Car Hop Night at Dodgers Stadium, cruising in your '55 T Bird, sporting a flat top and duck tail.
    Be there or be square.

I always wanted to go to Dodger Stadium in a suit and a fedora like in the fifties. I'd talk with that old timey voice and be appalled at all the minorities they've let play the game.

    One day... one day.

I agree and I wish your enlightened opinion would spread to all the part-time players because you cannot compare their performances to guys who play everyday. The standard has to be lower but not low enough obviously as to be TOTALLY useless.

Been out of town on business so I need help guys. What is the general opinion on TG being dfa'd? I thought it was a curious move since he was our best pinch hitter. Then to bring up a 1st baseman/OF when we have that guy in Rivera? I thought he would be gone and we keep TG.

He sucks. So I'm cool with it. Only reason Rivera is still here is because he can play first with a lefty on the mound; but he sucks too.
