Eric Stephen @truebluela 15m15 minutes ago Mike Bolsinger starts Friday in San Diego ---------------- Guessing that means no Greinke.
On the bright side, that would mean both Greinke and Kershaw would pitch against the A-Holes. Rub salt in the would. Also, though not relevant to Greinke, the Dodgers will face 4 RHPs in SD, against whom they are 58-43 this season.
I'm so depressed about Grandal. Such a baller and now doesn't have it. His shoulder is sore or what? I don't get it
His shoulder is definitely fucked up. Look at his at bats. He can't lift anything, he's just hitting it straight into the ground.
Usually I think that Russo guy on High Heat is a complete idiot. But he just killed it right now defending the Dodgers against the national media and his dumbass sidekick on the show.
I agree with Russo in that the starting pitching edge would still be with the Dodgers against the Mets, but that doesn't mean much. We had the pitching edge last year too. I disagree with Russo's thinking in that the Mets would have all the pressure in a series with the Dodgers. No chance. Mets are the upstart. Dodgers are the 300M payroll behemoth that's been World Series favorites for multiple years now.
Yeah looks like his shoulder is fucking him up. He started our the year with a bad slump too, and attributed it to a knee problem. Once he got healthy was when he became a beast. But man, him and Turner having any injury really hurts the offense Shit, even Ethier looked bad after fouling it off his knee yesterday
All he needed to do to win me over was call BS on Harvey-Degrom over Kershaw-Greinke. He stuck up for Kershaw when the other guy was exaggerating. Kershaw was unhittable through 6 innings in both starts. Hanley effed him over in game 4. Wainwright got killed in game 1 too but they had a bullpen to go to . He said some other things before his exchange with his partner that I agreed with too.
Yaz$ has to tough it out. Not always gonna be 100% at the catcher's position, so he's gotta figure out how to be effective when he's hurt. He keeps getting the nod, though, because he's that much better than Ellis is behind the dish. Would like to see him get a few days off soon, but hey, it's the all-important stretch run. I'll take his elite frame-work and be happy with it for now if they keep running him out there.
