Ummmm......when the Hell is Belli coming back?

This lineup seems more predictable without him in it.

Can we get some Buehler out of the pen, like ASAP?

And this game meant absolutely nothing compared to a postseason game where every pitch matters. 98-99 can only get you so far if you can't throw your secondary pitches for strikes. Been his issue for years.

    @billplunkettocr
Asked Yasiel Puig which was more exciting for him today -- his HR or the eclipse: "The eclipse only happens every 100 years but my HRs are also 40 at-bats in between. So they're both exciting."

    Lol. Great answer

Pirates only had one hit (the Harrison double) that inning. Watson (the HBP) and Baez (3 BBs) handed them those runs on a platter.

Walks are just as good as hits. I guess the positive is he didn't give up a homerun like he usually does

What an idiot that guy is. Baez has been carrying a FIP over 4 all season and a LOB percentage of 93 percent. A ticking time bomb. Baez deserves every bit of criticism he gets.

I think Verdugo deserves a chance. I like Adrian but he just doesn't fit on this team. He clogs things up

That ship has sailed with Grandersons arrival. September callup with no real chance of making the postseason roster, IMO. Instead we're stuck with Adrian Pierre with a piano strapped to his back.

Vassegh is shilling, he has to, its his job. But if you listened closely he was clear on a more than a few occasions that he has absolutely no confidence in Baez, not now and less in the postseason.
But he has to shill a lill and gently push back on the dodger fan killing him about baez.
    Dude just doing his job.

Wait till the playoffs start and they bring all the syringes full of instant pain relief and adrenaline and he will come up with some big shots just over the warning track.

Broadcasters usually just say whatever they want because casual fans won't notice.
Idiot Chris Russo a month or go said "the Dodgers made a big mistake giving Puig all that money". What? WAR per dollar he probably earned his entire contract already.

    Just idiots.

no that was a wide open approach
he is far more refined now and playing within himself
    at the plate at least
in the outfield he is always flat out amazing

even mom openly hopes he is dropped from the team
not that that is some revelation but she has been down on him from the start

Alex Wood is going to miss his next start due to his SC joint again. I suppose we should feel lucky that Kershaw will be back soon but damn this is worrisome.
