How many popups that game haha? Must be some kind of record.

    Carl Crawford
    AJ Ellis
    Adrian Gonzalez
    Matt Kemp
    Andre Ethier
    Mark Ellis
    Luis Cruz
    Justin Sellers

My lineup. Couple of tanks on the basepaths with Ellis and Gonzo is the only real issue.

God. Hanley adds a whole other dimension to our lineup.

AJ's plate discipline can also be really annoying though. Sometimes in front of the pitcher a nigga has to swing the bat, working a walk doesn't do shit. So two fastballs straight down the middle later AJ is 0-2, pitcher on deck, and at the opposing pitchers mercy. He does what he does well and still manages to perform, but fuck, pull the trigger sometimes son.

Probably. That whole HGH testing is going to hit Hanley hard IMO. So solid for someone so fucking lazy. How much of the "lazy" is media related though who knows.

I do miss his "I see you shit" though. Always makes me smile, as childish as it is. Easing the tension baby just easing the tension.

I dunno man, not as dire as it seems. One hit in a key situation I think we would have got our tails up and brought that game home. That hit/spark, just never came. Crawford set us up for it a lot, just the next man didn't do his job.

After this series I do think we have a better team than the Giants, despite playing our worse. Errors in the field killing us, and Donnie's lineups are Torreske.

i think we definitely have the better personnel
but i think the giants are playing better as a team
that could -- and hopefully will -- change
but for right now the giants are simply outplaying us

See! That made me laugh just looking at it. What a total fuckwit.

Complete teams need idiots like this though. Serious Dre and Kemp breaking their bats in anger after an AB is cool showing emotion at all, but an arsehole like this making goggles when he bloops a single is a great distraction.

Serious teams are gay, just watch Arizona's bunch of "wily veterans who play the game the right way" this year. Fucking personality deprived borefests. Bet you that clubhouse is going off.

I'm rambling because I have nothing better to do.

Agreed with that. The opening series was horrific, even the Kershaw game. It's embarrassing that the pitcher has to jump start the offense. It's not the way it should be for any team, let alone a 215M dollar team. This opening series was a failure and an embarrassment to the gross financial clout that's been applied here and there's no getting around it. It's obviously not a convincing sample size that has anything to do with truly evaluating the team, but the 1-15 w/ RISP bullshit is the standard and trademark of the gutless teams that have defiled the Ravine for the past two seasons, and we NEED to get beyond that. The most expensive team in baseball history can NOT be a disappointment, even in its first year. It's time to put up or shut the fuck up. Especially Kemp. No one really gives a shit what you did on a bottom feeding team in 2011 - he needs to show what he's made of when the world is watching. And that goes for the rest of this squad. As much of a cliche as it is, there's responsibility and accountability when so much money is invested, and I saw none of it in this series, with the exception of Kershaw's heroic effort that belongs in a fucking Greek epic.

Kemp will always be the engine. And if it's not running right, all the other parts sit idly by. That's a lot to put on his shoulder (yes, intended), but it's true. Kemp looks like he doesn't believe he can do it. He looks like he can't defeat the Giants. And that probably trickles down. Not to mention the tangible fact that he just flat out sucks right now.

Soon this little mental hurdle this team might have will simply become who they are. And with what's been invested in this team...changes will be made.

Maybe it's oversimplified this way, but there #3 hitter gave them 2 runs on a wack swing, and if our #3 hitter got 1 hit, that gives us an extra run or two.

That completely changes the game... The team was set up nice in that people got on base, and I don't think the Giants really looked far superior, just got a big hit and no one on the Dodgers did, specially. Doesn't fall all on him, but I mean, you have to think more often than not he'll get some hits with RISP and we win games like this, or at least get closer.

1-12 with RISP is not going to happen every game. Sometimes balls are going to fall, but I'm at least glad there were RISP. That's probably a real big optimistic viewpoint, but I mean you need to get RISP and then need to bring them in, at least we got half of it, still think the other half comes. Kemp/Adrian are too good

Our eventual 4th+5th starters gave up a combined 4 ER, which isn't great but I mean, the pitching was there. I still think the hitting will get there.

With that said, the past two games were lame games to go to. Felt like the crowd was begging to erupt at anything and was let down countless times

That's not a wrong way to look at it by any means but carrying over from last year, a series loss like this rings too symbolic until they can prove otherwise.
