Got in a car accident, allegedly spit on the cops... On the eve that the fags from Anaheim get an amazing 1B, we might be in trouble with ours!

    http://www.tmz.com/2011/12/08/l-a-d...ly-under-the-influence-of-drugs/#.TuDSqXN5upp

Los Angeles Dodgers star James Loney was arrested while being hospitalized in L.A. last month ... after allegedly smashing his Maserati into THREE other cars ... and then spitting at a cop ... this according to a police report obtained by TMZ.

Loney -- who plays 1st base for the Dodgers -- was arrested on November 14th ... because cops say he appeared to be under the influence of drugs after he swerved into a Toyota around 6pm ... and then careened into a Mercedes and a Mini.

According to the report, when cops first arrived to the scene ... Loney told one of the officers, "The bitch hit me from behind."

Cops say Loney appeared to be "restless, unsteady, aggressive and irritable" ... and he "exhibited eyelid tremors and his shirt was soiled and moist from perspiration, from his armpits down to his waistline."

Cops say when officers asked Loney what day it was ... he replied, "7/15 and Saturday" -- when in fact, it was 11/14 and Monday.

Loney was handcuffed and transported to a nearby hospital -- where an officer attempted to give him a breathalyzer test.

But according to the report, Loney was "uncooperative" -- biting off the mouthpiece and spitting it back at the cop.

Cops say Loney began to get aggressive with police ... so they placed him in arm and leg restraints ... and a member of hospital staff gave him "an injection" to calm him down.

Loney was released to the care of the hospital and was never brought to the police station for formal booking.

Still, cops say they obtained a blood sample to test for drugs and alcohol ... but it came back NEGATIVE. Now the case is in the hands of the L.A. City Attorney's Office.

Dylan Hernandez just tweeted it won't affect Loney's tender status (they won't release him) Obviously he's cheap!

Strange this Loney business should come out now. Maybe this is a little PR sabotage, to prepare us for his enevitable departure...

Dodger James Loney was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his Maserati allegedly sideswiped several cars on the 101 Freeway before it came to a halt in the fast lane with the infielder passed out inside, authorities said Thursday.
The accident took place Nov. 14 about 6:12 p.m. on the 101 just west of the 405 Freeway in Sherman Oaks, said California Highway Patrol spokesman Leland Tang. Loney, 27, was arrested at the scene and then taken to Sherman Oaks Hospital.
"His unusual behavior at the scene caused concern on the part of the L.A city fire paramedics and he was transported to Sherman Oaks Hospital for further tests," Tang said.
According to Tang, Loney was driving his 2009 Maserati westbound on the 101 when he sideswiped three vehicles for unknown reasons. Immediately afterwards, his sports car came to an abrupt stop in the fast lane, Tang said.
"The three parties involved in the collision including the driver of a 2008 Mini Cooper, a Toyota Prius and Mercedes Benz attempted to contact Mr. Loney but according to their statements he appeared to be unconscious," Tang said. "He eventually awoke and he saw all the people standing around him. He then attempted to flee the scene."
A CHP officer who first encountered Loney wrote in his report that the Dodger appeared to have "objective symptoms of being intoxicated or being under the influence of something."
Through his agent, Loney declined to comment Thursday on the incident.
But a person close to the player said tests for drugs and alcohol returned negative and that Loney has apologized for the incident.
The CHP's Tang, however, said no results were available yet from a blood sample taken from Loney by officers.
Loney's arrest was first reported by TMZ.com.

Is this for real? WTF? He can't hit and he can't drive!

The only thing he can hit is parked cars!

Where's Turborg and BlueZoo to comment?

I would wonder about that also. It may be a leak to help negotiations and get him to sign for less than his arbitration vales by damaging character which had previously never been an issue.

Ned should offer him some ridiculous backloaded 5-year contract that pays him $1MM this year then $5MM for the next 100 years.

Would not surprise me to see him extended so he can avoid paying next year. Fox is trying to screw us and if they win in court we are

I think the funniest and strangest thing about the whole story is that the tests came back NEGATIVE! How the fuck is that??? Huh?

Wait-I've got it....Ned gets wind of it right away...starts greasing palms all over the lab...and gets the guy who gave Schmidt his MRI...a guy he knows well...a guy who he's dealt with before- on multiple occasions. So James shows up undetected...

    Mulatto, please.

Guys read the thread I started about Frank keeping the team for most of next year and Neds payroll moves will begin to make sense. We are screwed.
