NBA Central @TheNBACentral 21m21 minutes ago Tarik Black, Lakers agree on a 2 year/ $12.85M deal, per @ShamsCharania. There it is Maybe a couple mill left until they reach the cap floor, a little more if they just go ahead and waive Young now Roughly 15MM in space left, 12 players committed to ( not counting Young, he's out)
They'll go full court press on him now that they don't have to clear space for Durant. Harrison Barnes now unrestricted, any takers here? LMFAO Matt Barnes signs in Sactown.
The Vertical @TheVertical 8m8 minutes ago Sources: Roy Hibbert agrees to one-year, $5 million deal with Hornets. @WojVerticalNBA report on @TheVertical. Nick Young level value Lol Hibbert is slow as hell, he might have 2 yrs left, including this one, fortunate that Georgetown alum Ewing is now associate HC
i would hope not, especially if he doesn't want to sign an extension i think one of those guys would be fair and hopefully dangelo anyone would love westbrook but okc has to look at the fact they are close to receiving nothing for both of their stars
If im lakers i offer 1 not both. And offer randle over dangelo since PGs are slim pickins right now and PF are everywhere. Westbrook at SG would be nice. Unshackle him from his pg duties. A russell russell backcourt would be nice.
I agree as we would be paying for a one year rental and then hoping he will resign. However given the general crapiness of the FO and this team our trade offer would have to be much better than any other teams offer to entice the Thunder to make a trade with the Lakers. I would love to think that this young team has the ability to get to say 40 wins this year, possibly make the playoffs as the 8th seed. I would also love to believe that increase in wins would give Westbrook the confidence in this team to sign here in FA allowing the Lakers to not sacrifice young talent in trade. Sadly I don't think that is realistic. I think we will be lucky to see 30ish wins this year and I doubt Westbrook even entertains the Lakers in FA even if they got to 50 wins.......so I kinda think the Lakers need to gamble on a trade and try to develop a core of Clarkson/Ingram/Westbrook to attract more FA next year.
