    Just noticed that Callaspo greatest effort today was that weak as ground out to first.. after 3 K's at least he made contact.


    Which brings up the whole WTF are we doing with this ancient utility fielder? Nothing but clogging up the path for Seager. Callaspo should retire already. He was washed up when the Angel's had him years ago.

    Who really thinks this guy provides ANY value?

    At least old fat Uribe could field... and hit in the clutch once in a while

    His value is versatility and he's been hot in June. The following all before today which is ugly no doubt: .325/.400/.425. Last 7 days .385/.467./462. He and JT (minus the power) have basically been the best offensive player in an otherwise horrible hitting team slump.

    I'll happily eat crow. But there ain't a single soul on here that honestly expected us to win and Frias and co to shut out the Cubs.

    Easy homie I'm getting to like young Frias this year... the kid has stepped up nicely

    i don't have any false hopes of him growing into a #3 or better but right about now I'll take 'whatever' he's dishing because a "W" is all that matters
