point taken, but Frias was a surprise start yesterday, so it wouldn't shock me if he did approach his media session in that way. i don't give Mattingly cred for much, but i'll give him a little in this case. either way..the message got out..teams probably shouldn't look for Frias to start again and that should give us the element of surprise if he does.
Anyone have any doubt at all the Ned's big trade would blow the game? Get a fucking bunt down and get six hitters out. What a trade!
I was watching his bullpen before the game and I have to say I like his stuff. He threw a damn good game too.
I was watching this and screaming..Even my 8 year old was like really? Why is Ellis running? Then to have him switched out while at 3rd? Made absolutely no sense. We had too many chances to win this game and fucking shit the bed. And Joc bunting with Kemp on Deck? Fucking stupid. BTW. My Son and I stayed for the entire game. I was ready to roll out e few times but my boy was like ...Don't even think were leaving dad. Were gonna win this!
On the bright side at least we lost 2 of 3 against a quality opponent and the Gnats lost to a far inferior team
i can't see any bright side when 1) a 4 game lead was right there for us and 2) Donnie Dum Dum is our manager
i'd like to believe that..really would. but we've lost series to SD and the Chicago Cubs. i'm not looking past anybody
Not sure if anyone saw this but this happened at The Ravine Yesterday... Note the Hot Dog in his grip..threw down a few tall boys to boot!
haha...Yeah, I'm not buying DonnieBB as Jason Bourne...not a clandestine itel type , in my book anyway. What's the big secret anyway...please. The kid threw a ballsy game while out there, gave us more than we thought possible, and now he's the new Fat Man and Little Boy? Donnie, the great disinformation expert? What would another team do if so "surprised " by a Frias start? Put another LH batter in the lineup? C'mon...much more effective if he said something like" based on his excellent turn for us, we may use Frias at any time with total confidence after his thoroughly veteran-like start and excellent control".
None whatsoever. I said to myself even though Jansen sucked stupendously and League his more often than not usual douchebaggery prevailing, when Correia came in, I knew it was an L. As Richard Crenna told Rambo, "it's over Johnny"... How the fuck he has a job in MLB is baffling...along with the court jester who signed him.
post deadline: Lester is 3-3 2.59 Price is 2-2 3.86 -------------- Hernandez is 2-2 4.61 Correia is 2-3 5.94 goat of two games.... Not exactly genius work but we still have Joc and the 2 ballers vs only one less win.....
