The team was so flat tonight. It was a sleepy cold atmosphere out there and they played like it. Simple as that. Absent minded and a step slow. Gotta tighten up the screws and give a better effort tomorrow for the series win. Credit to Ross and Craig who are great. But the Dodgers weren't engaged in all areas tonight.
Greinke was great, so there is that. Mehcarthy on the hill tomorrow vs a much better pitcher in Cashner.
Sloppy ass game. Forget it happened and move on. Yuck. The most important thing here is we still have a chance to win the series, the name of the game. Get it done.
Yeah but he's only going to get 81 wins at this point, and wins are the only individual stat that matters.
I'm jealous as fuck that the Padres got Kimbrel. I know it would have been a bitch to trade for him since Melvin BJ whoever the fuck Upton would have to be involved, but the idea of a healthy Jansen and Kimbrel in the same pen would have been so awesome and greatly improved a big weakness.
Only saw up to Inning 7. Glad I missed the massacre. On the plus side, how on fire as AGon been this series?
and talk about an immediate impact he looked like bugs bunny out there in the ninth one, two, three, yer out... one, two, three, yer out... one, two, three, yer out... goodnight, drive safely
sit tight..Aroldis Chapman is a free agent this coming up off-season. i know Friedman isn't about dishing out big dollars for relievers, but Chapman is a different animal.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, for sure...but I don't know if being aware that the same ugly, monotonous problems have raised their heads already in the second game of the year, and watching the moves that were made by both teams perform accordingly, is jumping off a cliff...it happened, and it's a bit shocking after all the taint licking of of FO's brilliance with the maxi-moves, and "pitch framing" wars , and the BP as it stands right now...and most alarmingly, the defense and the twit Mattingly and his ridiculous micro-managing. We needed to go through the whole staff in that game like he did? It looked like an example of bi-polarism last night...manic DBB and Puig napping out in RF. Yeah, it's a small SAMPLE SIZE, but it sure didn't take long to illustrate that those old albatrosses are still around and can drape themselves around the team's neck at any time. Hatcher, who hit a batter, and then gave up a rocket hit right at Uribe the night before for a fortunate DP, then got a K, was at best lucky; last night...the roof caved in on him. IDK if he's the path back to Kenley. Gotta get the 2 out of 3 and go on from here, and fucking DBB has to calm down, man...is he doing an 8 ball in the dugout or drinking triple caffeine or something? WTF was that all about?
perfect description. " slop ". gotta clean it up. they were semi-sloppy on opening day as well, but they rallied and came back, so nobody really cared. yap. win this series..all is forgiven.
