Roberts apparently hinted that the team is toying with the idea of calling up Verdugo or Dickson since they have plenty of 40 man space. I bet it would have been Verdugo today if he hadn't missed 3-4 games this past week.

In a pregame interview with Dave Roberts he said that he talked with Adrian Gonzalez about ramping up his return more quickly, and Adrian is taking batting practice today. He said it's not likely that Adrian returns right at 10-days when he's eligible, but he was talking like Adrian could return sooner rather than later. Considering Adrian was playing beat up for so long and only went to the DL when he was basically forced to, I'm nervous that he will push to return sooner than he should.
This seems idiotic to me. In order for the Dodgers to be successful, they need him to be healthy. I'd rather sacrifice short-term than rush him back and have him be ineffective
