after (essentially) one month... - Kershaw, 2-0, 1.78 ERA - Billingsley, 2-1, 2.64 ERA - Capuano, 3-0, 2.73 ERA - Harang, 1-1, 5.16 ERA - Lilly, 2-0, 0.90 ERA - All 5 Combined, 10-2, 2.63 ERA
Kershaw: A results. Struggling a bit command wise but that'll come as he settles in. Bouncing a lot of balls, not as sharp as he's like to be. And you can tell he is getting a bit frustrated with himself out there. But I mean....look at his stats lol. Beast. Bills: A+ Expected a pussy Capuano: A Harang D+ Lilly: A+
Surprised by Capuano, doing really well. A+ Kershaw is a little below his best, but still good as shit. A- Chad has been amazing bar one start. A Ted Lilly has gotten very lucky. Still can't hold a runner for an absolute shit. A Harrang is fucking shit. But hey 5th starters off the top of my head in recent years. Hendrickson, Tomko, Loiza, Haegar even a Schmidt comeback. Like a pitching God compared to them. C.

I am a little wary of having this thread posted right before they go to that launching pad in Coors. Hope it doesn't jinx us.
The staff as a whole gets an A, no doubt. We now need the offense to step its game up so to allow for some return to the mean.
Reminds me of the Princess bride when Billy Crystal when told that Elwes was dead said "I've seen worse".
Nicasio has only allowed 2 runs in 2 starts on the road but at Coors it's 10 in 2 starts. At night his ERA is 10
I didn't see any wins coming from the starters outside of Kershaw when the season started. The other four have pitched better than they ever have. I'm happy with the results so far. Not sure if it will last. But so far so good. I give them a collective A.
I gave it a B...but think maybe I should've gave it an A...but my problem is that Kershaw is actually not at his best while the rest seem to be.
Who would have guessed that Lilly and Capuano would be a combined 8-0 with a 1.83 ERA and a .179 batting average (against)?
