Which was funnier: the fly ball that fell in between CARGO and whoever...OR AJ Ellis clocking Fowler in the ear with the throw to 2b...OR Ethier/DBB freak show with screaming at the finook umpire...OR Vinny getting back into the horrors and sorrows of playing BB in Denver ???
Padres are trendsetters, lol. Least we don't get to see the American flag on one of the most racist, despicable logos for another year though (Cle).
I don't know if anyone feels like this, but to me it feels like we've done this all without Kershaw. I mean obviously he's started but he hasnt just flat out dominated a game wire to wire yet. its so awesome
Plus one here, dude. I was thinking about that shit at work. I just hope/pray the rest of the rotation can keep it up. Bench is now solid , only true question marks is the infield offense minus AJ Ellis.
I was gonna say that but I didn't wanna be a contrarian. Kershaw's not getting much better than this lol
I can see where Christoph is coming from. His results have been great, but I think even Kershaw is dissatisfied with his command. Bouncing a lot of balls, and he looks frustrated with himself right now...like he can't quite put the ball where he wants to. The fact that he's been as good as he has without his best 'stuff' just shows how scary he's going to be when he gets into full rhythm. Looks like he finally got into a comfort zone with his pitches and release point against the VaGiants the other day. Look for a no hitter against the Douchebags.
^ I get you, but he has a 2.56 ERA. He might increase his K/BB or FIP, but he's not going to let up less runs, so while he may pitch better, it's not going to equate to us being a better position to win.
Heading out to the ravine for the first time since '09 on tuesday, can't wait. Though I regret that I will miss game 2 of the Kings in the Western Conference Finals.
