Basically once he gets unblocked, then he is officially the Dodgers I'm guessing? I doubt this many outlets would have reported otherwise.

 

Really excited right now. I don't know anything about him but in our scouts and Logan White I trust.

If this guy can come in and be an immediate upgrade over Mark Ellis then this will be huge.

I see that he hasn't been cleared to sign, hope that is just a minor bump in the road.

 

That's what I'm hoping as well, strange situation right now.

Must be some sort of strategy for announcing how you will handle a free agent. Maybe scare others away from him?

 

Put this guy in 2B, bring up Seager in a couple of years, and move Hanley to 3B = sexxxxxxxxxxxxx.

 

This whole storyline seems so strange. I am resigned to the fact that Mark will be replaced next season but to bring this kid up so quickly as to affect our chemistry seems really really odd. When I 1st saw this story I thought it was a April fools joke in July. We'll see what happens.

I think they have to say that, can't imagine it would look very good to the OFAC if his agent said, "we have a verbal agreement with the Dodgers" before he can sign.

Idk what's going on with this. It was reported they signed him, and then that was redacted. What's going on? Is he not eligible to officially sign yet?

I would expect it to get done when he can, too many specifics got out.
