No. This is a sports website. And i make a sport of whatever i enjoy. For a long time that was forum moderating and community building now known as social media. I made it into a sport 20 years ago before i joined psd amd created dsp. I started in a forum about role playing and turn based and real time strategy games and their design. I love world building and designing game mechanics for those worlds. And so i apply that to my real world. What i find that is broken to my pov i try to reimagine. Psd was broken in spirit but doing well in appearance. I got sick of all the bitching and did something about it. Other mods werent doing jack and so one day i gathered a small group of guys from different team affiliations and walks of life who wanted to improve things. That day the purges started. It was a holocaust of assholes who needed to be banned and i dropped my long banhammer on a tithe of the population. From the survivors of that purge is that i gathered the few posters that would help me continue purging out the people killing the spirit of psd. I asked the owner of psd make them mods and created a system for junior mods to learn the ropes of modding from a regular mod. But all was not well. The spirit killing problem was not in the branches of the tree but in its roots. The mod forum was full of spirit killers who by example corrupted junior mods and entire team forums worth of users. It all came to a head during a regular shit talking session about one user or the other. These would always get really and personal. The subject was a kid who i wanted to promote to mod. I had two junior mods i was training at the time. Sports illustrator and nozz. They didnt want either. Nobody liked SI because he appeared less than bright. He has also been begging to be made a mod for a while and was annoying. Nozz was kinda odd sometimes but was earnest and had some graphics talent. Which we always needed. But he was ugly looking to the mod forum and they constantly made fun of his looks family and intellect in very racist ways. So i started killing threads in the mod forum with long posts such as these showing the mods for who and what they really are. They started to delete or close threads left and right. I would defend SI too because they tore into him some as well. But then he started to suck up to another mod and betrayed his buddy nozz. All because he wanted to be a mod. He got his wish. And so with the help of a few good men we trolled psd hard. So hard they reported me to some internet authorities as a hacker. While they did that the revolution was already on its way. I was safe eating buttered lobster and marlin ceviche at the puerto nuevo redzone (or was it burgers and fries at the ruby in newport?) while rome was burning. The psd owner was gone too as he sold and cashed out to corporate masters who removed the last bit of soul the site had. But hey psd is a top ranked sports forum according to the sabrmetrics of internet rankings. So what do i know... I just sport here.
Thanks for the history. You may have missed my point.. BZ loves to point out that "this is a baseball forum" whenever he wants to justify His crying about stuff so I was just mocking him... Not you. But all good.
This.... Puig doesn't deserve his own thread at this point. Let him do something good consistently, then maybe we can have an argument.
I so much agree and yet he's still leading the club in outfield assists, T1 in triples, T3 in HR and and and ... ... precious fucking little else. Yeah good point.

Crawford needs to be DFA'd whether Puig, Ethier, SVS, or whoever else are playing or not. He wasn't completely useless his first couple years. When he was on the field in '13 and '14 he was pretty decent. But now he is about as useless a player as we have.
So is Puig just going to have hamstring issues every fucking year? Not that I'm upset, cause at least he's out of the lineup for right now. How about getting some stretching in before the game, or maybe doing some hamstring curls to strengthen those bad boys up though?
hear ya d preparation would probably solve the problem or at the very least lessen the likelihood (or recurring injuries) that said i seriously doubt he'd embrace any part of it into his repertoire unless it involved bat flips and posturing guy has gone from great, to good, to average, to underperforming, to full shit... now he's just embarrassing
Leave the guy alone, getting plenty of production from RF suddenly. I think he's turning it around. It's as if he's a better, different player out there in right. Good to see, good for him.
