But none of the other 'nasty' closers throws over 104 mph...

I don't know how anyone hits Chapman. It's really almost not fair.

I'm going on record and saying that the overmanaging going on this month is a mistake. I'm not sure why Adrian Gonzalez has a night off twice a week. I know it doesn't matter in the standings, but Adrian Gonzalez plays 162 games a season when he's healthy, I'm not sure the need for resting him this frequently is necessary. Guys that are hurt are one thing, and I'm not in the clubhouse so what do I know, I just don't understand it.

I think Adrian has a groin issue, not a major one, but maybe thats why he is sitting... to be careful I guess. Not 100% if that's the reason though.

One strange shit to me is that Michael Young gets most of his ABs as a starter and not a pinch hitter. In the playoffs he's gonna be a pinch hitter yet when he's on the bench, Hairston usually comes up first as a pinch hitter with MYoung coming in on a double switch. Most of Youngs ABs this month have came as a starter, something he's already done all year.

If we're using these weeks to truly prepare for the playoffs, why not put him in his role more often so he can get used to it or wtv. I mean, it might not be a big deal and might not change the results but just a bit odd.

    Me neither.

Just looking up his numbers, and it's probably needing a larger sample size but at home hitters have a .350 OPS and away it's .833

Strange (especially considering Reds play in a hitters park)

Hopefully we run the table, STL passes the Braves for best record, the Reds get knocked off by the Pirates in the WC game, the Pitates knock off the Cards, and we'll go through ATL and Pittsburgh.

    Not gonna happen but yeah.

Nolasco has pitched like a faggot for what, at least 3 games in a row now...maybe Puig shoulda had it, but really, give it up to Tony Abreu? Pretty sad lately from Big Nick. Very ballsless lately...he might be a woman.
Nice call by Donnie sniffing out the squeeze...Bochy really wanting to pour it on. Not that time, giant head Giant.
Why the fuck is it so hard for us to hit this guy?
