Any of the 3 are OK in my book. Kapler probably has the edge having been a skipper before even though it was just 1yr at the class A level. If that's how it works out then I hope Roberts at least becomes the bench coach. Both pres Friedman and vp Byrnes get their guys.
Kapler is front runner because of one year in A ball? I don't question your logic here, just seems to me a team like the Dodgers should come up with someone with a little more chops than this... I coached a womens softball team years ago that one the ATT league championship...do I have an interview coming? They don't want to rush things and endeavor to get it right, "slow but steady" ...so this is the guy? Damn...
Sorry bro. Only Irish and CDB got interviews from here. And I don't think either one of them found the Sambos they were supposed to be held in.
@jcrasnick: #Dodgers are doing 2nd interviews with managerial finalists and plan to make a decision by Friday or Saturday, sources say. Cool, excited to see who it is and who will get the honor of being cussed out by us by mid-April
@jcrasnick: Indications are #Dodgers manager job will come down to Gabe Kapler and Dave Roberts. Bud Black appears to be out of the mix.
How can you have Black and fumble and now you have Dusty? Haha Nats' stink just followed them into the off season
It better be Roberts then. They dont need to jerk us around for that long and end it by hiring someone in their own organization.
it's been kRapler's job to lose since day one still is barring some charlie sheen type of revelation, he'll get the job roberts/martinez were interviewed solely to appease the [superfluous] minority/equal opportunity requirement(s) :wowracist:
