    If your only worry is RF then just run a platoon of whatever guys are hot for the remainder of the year. How Joc can be considered a better player offensively than Puig is hard to fathom. Joc is trending down with his fatness and nonchalant attitude while Puig has been trending up losing weight playing hard being solid in the clubhouse and doing what the coaches ask from him. And IMO he has contributed more offensively this year than Joc.

    Potential for a lot of shuffling, but it's easy to see that Bellinger and Taylor should be locks in the order and in the OF.
    Thus, LAD could go for JD and stick him in one corner and figure out CF/LF between Bellinger and Taylor, both capable of playing CF.
    Or LAD could go bigger and for the earthquaker, touch base with Miami to see if Ozuna or Stanton can be had for a reasonable price.
    All that said, LAD still has Trayce and Verdugo that could be options at some point between now and Sept., so they're probably not all that desperate.
    Either way, it's not all that hard to upgrade from Puig's .205/.254/.333 line since mid-April

    If that twat had only intervened like every other catcher has done since baseball began, the situation could very possibly have diffused somewhat and never become what it eventually did. But nooooooo...
    From this day forward, when writing of the SF catcher, he will be known as Buster Pussy in my world.

    I agree I don't want to see any of our guys hurt in fights, let alone our best guys. But this seems silly if it's true. How often do catchers get hurt getting in between batters who might charge the mound? I see Buster Posey as nothing more than a proof-of-concept experiment for what Bruce Boche always wished the catcher position to be. If they are that worried, they should move Posey to 1B or LF permanently instead of making a joke out of baseball.

    I agree with you that the Joc/Puig comparison offensively is definitely off, but have you been literally talked into the Joc fatness thing perhaps? The guy had a double chin when he came up...he never looked svelte, say like Bellinger does; so, how much would you estimate Joc has gained since last May?
