True, but we'd also have a lot of guys telling everyone to calm down because everything is perfect and you aren't a true fan if you disagree.

My reading of balls on TV off the bat apparently isn't good.
Peralta pitch away, pulls for a home run, I'm thinking, no way he got it all. Gone
Pitch Grandal flew out to the warning track to, looked like he barreled it, right in his happy zone, warning track power
Especially the pitch Jimmy hit. middle in, he was on that pitch, look liked he barreled it, but obviously not, because it didn't even go to the warning track.

10-15 over the last 25 games just doesn't cut it. I'm sorry, not with this roster.
Mattingly might be the nicest guy in the world, but it doesn't mean he is qualified to be our manager. Something has to change

something will..it just won't be the manager. it'll be Olivera joining and taking over at 3B..perhaps Seager joining and taking over at SS ( Astros just called up Carlos Correa, btw) and maybe a trade for a #3 caliber starter in July.

don't expect a change at manager unless they completely fall off the wagon and lose 10-15 games in a row or somethin silly like that and that's not happenin.

Trading for a starter could maybe push Carlos Frias to being a part of the bullpen, he could be a great reliever I think so

    This was/is not Mattingly's fault.

It isn't like he is making the wrong moves, they are just all failing him. Although I would have pushed Greinke through the seventh inning and possibly back out there for eighth.

Good news is Greinke is his usual very good self, Kershaw is Kershaw again, Anderson is pitching damn good, Bolsinger has been unreal, the wins will come with performances like they give us.

Rookie, he has to wait until he's a little more established. But yeah that was crap that he called Joc out on the same location he put Carpenter on to begin the next inning. (It wasn't a strike either time)

Here's a little story for you all. Sit around in a semi-circle and listen to my tale of a magical place called Chicago. Last month against the same opposition, Cub manager Joe Maddon had a plethora of these "rookies" facing the Cardinals. Molina and his pitchers were getting gifted strikes for everything, which in turn forced the Cub rookies to swing. Some pitches and calls were pure rubbish. The difference is, this Joe Maddon guy didn't let his rookies rip into the umpire, he actually went onto the field and ripped them himself, got ejected himself, and then at the media scrum afterwards called the umpire out again. I believe that's called leadership and protecting your young players. That is what a manager should do.

The Dodgers preach getting on base. Twice Joc did the right thing and didn't swing. Next time, he's going to swing at shit that far inside, because he's getting rung up on it. It's bullshit.
