Didn't know Bellinger had wheels. Great win, would have been a shit game to watch I'd imagine though.
Good god...I'm in love with Heide Watney fron Quick Pitch On MLB. That outfit she was wearing today...... I'm going to hell. Humuna.
Absolutely, without a doubt, given past history and those stats and numbers we all know and love. It took all of one pitch to become a reality...unless you're coming back with " Baez would have given up a HR"...which would be silliness. Putting Posey on base immediately is not the thing one is looking for there. Nope
I gota agree with BZ here. Jansen has looked shakey this year. Would rather give Baez the 8th and get Jansen comfortable with 3 in the 9th.
Bellinger LF Seager SS Turner 3B Gonzalez 1B Grandal C Puig RF Utley 2B Toles CF Wood P Pretty dope for Bellinger
For me, it was more that Baez was rolling, absolutely, and Posey has great numbers against Jansen. Why make a move that is against the grain and extend Jansen when not needed? I like Dave, was in his corner last year, but this year I see moves for the sake of moves. Some are head scratching. When the NLW sucked, and SF broke ML records for collapsitude, he looked good, even with the micro managing...this season, IDK if that approach plays so well again...different team now. We'll see
Bellinger leading off. RAIDERS trade for Beast Mode. Your move, Lakers..do somethin strange for a piece of change.
I am all for giving the kid some confidence but him leading off makes no sense. His hit last night was a booper and he was overmatched in ST. It would make more sense to have Seager in the leadoff spot with everyone moving up one spot and Bellinger down in the #9 spot.
Strange would have been sending Ingram and Russel for Boogie........we don't want that crap. Sadly they need to stand pat. No trades this off season, just smart drafting. Then sign FA in 2018.....I know not very exciting.
Fuck the hit, it was an infield single and not a bloop, he showed wheels, but fuck that hit. More importantly, he put good ABs together in his debut in a hell of an atmosphere against a hated rival. And still, it says something about Puig/Toles and the inconsistencies in their ABs. Live look in at CB jumping Puig for leadoff duty.. In other words, CB didn't need a 40 in. vertical to clear Puig.
I must say, Toles looks less than inspiring out there. Maybe he'll change my mind and do something beau coup tonight.
I agree. He's been solid. Some guys can hit some guys though. Ask CK about Blach. Lol. That was my take, along with the Dave micro shit... Not answering for Spanky though.
